The after credit scenes are pretty cute as well. Honestly watching the episodes again with you it is more family skits centered than spy x family. I guess that’s why I like it as well, and I can’t compare Miri’s family against Anya’s family because they both have their good qualities.
i know a lot of people hate the mom and the show definitely like, encourages you to hate her but tbh I feel like its not 100% deserved? yeah obviously sending Miri off by herself was bad and like bare MINIMUM she should have tried to pay her cab fare there but at the same time like, this woman is very obviously not cut out for motherhood? works a shit, low pay job, doesn't have the temperment for parenthood and outright states she was taken advantage of and never wanted kids. Sending Miri to someone more capable is probably the best thing she could do for her, and she had no way of knowing her dad was awful, and then having Kazuki – who is literally rich and has the time + energy to do a lot of the things she doesn't – yell at her for doing a bad job feels, not great? like I get that she's Mean or whatever but damn dude, she cant even afford to leave a job where her boss literally physically abuses her, what do you want. The show is otherwise really fun, but this specific episode bugged me 😕
I'm really enjoying it , it's really wholesome and the next few eps get really really good.

Ep 4 is when I started to have fun with this show tbh. I think Miri annoyed me a little when she was the main focus but seeing two two dads be the focus from 4 onwards really endeared me to their family more. Can't wait for more of your reactions! 🙂
