You have a very bad fault of sitting in your supporting hip and really leaning in towards that side and that is why you have problems in turns as it makes balance impossible .
you need to point your feet even at the barre.
you lift your arms up too high in second position so your shoulders follow..
you also let your hands flop down
Your body is completely out of alignment.
you bounce to unfold the leg which gives an unpleasing and jerky movement ..
you also need to go over your box more en pointe ..
I am an ex professional Royal Ballet trained ballerina and i have been biting my tongue for the past three or four years but these faults will cause you a lot of problems with your joints long term .. you are a beautiful dancer but you need to address the techniques to advance ….

Hey Luna! If you can afford it, it might be beneficial to look into seeing a dietitian that specializes in disordered eating. A lot of the sentiments and symptoms you’re experiencing can be treated with professional assistance. I know the difficulties are caused by anxiety, but with a history of disordered eating some of that anxiety may be coming from desire for weight control (d/t monetary value placed on your body via brand deals) and ingrained/subconscious food beliefs. Physiologically your body changes when under-nourished, so its unlikely that normal appetite will return when anxiety resolves. Also, great job with the smoothie, although its important to note that nutrient dense powders are not going to contain the necessary macronutrients to prevent malnutrition/undernutrition. As someone with a large platform built on body positivity I think this is a great time to use your resources and influence and share tips with the audience that you gleam from professionals (dietitians not nutritionists)

i used to be a ballerina, for 18 years. but once college hit, my dreams of continuing dance was crushed.BUT i have gained so much weight since i was a ballerina. i fluctuate alot and honestly, balletcore can be triggering for me. i love the collection, i wouldve worn them all the time; but since gaining weight, i cannot wear skin tight clothing. i feel so insecure and i know im not the only one who doesnt feel like this trend can work for them. anyway, just wanted to say to everyone, youre not alone. we all have insecurities, we can get thru it together <3

I had an eating disorder for a decade and I believe Luna is having the same thing happen to her that happened to me. After refeeding, my weight shot up higher than I had ever been. But after about 2 years the weight just melted off without me trying. I think it is the body stabilizing and realizing you aren't starving it anymore. Now I settled at a low set point but not too thin. I never worry about what I eat besides the fact that I know have frequent indigestion. I believe this is a result of how long I screwed up my digestive system. Consequences!
Luna! You are such an amazing dancer! I've been following you for quite some time and your journey with body image, self love, and self acceptance as a dancer has been so inspiring to me! I also struggle with anxiety and disordered eating and often find it hard to eat when I'm anxious. Especially before morning ballet, when I struggle the most to eat, treat your food as fuel and a grounding practice. Turn off any distractions, like phone, tv, computer and with each bite say a positive affirmation to yourself ie: "I am fueling my body", "Food gives me energy", "My body is strong", or anything that speaks to your anxieties for that day. It's just nice to have a moment for yourself to reconnect and remember that you are eating to gain strength and fuel your body. I admire you and love everything that you've been doing!
