  1. Wow, this is the only video I've seen that actually talks about what the tasks might be working as a Developer. I've had to scourer the internet

  2. Hello, Sir, I'm just wondering where does all the work come from in these companies. Like I know some if it is maintenance and some of it is new products but what other work would make up most of the tickets and what sort of ratio is there between the two?

  3. Ngl little discouraged learning code right now because ChatGPT, I’m a junior in High School and i feel like by the time I get a job it AI might be developed enough to the point where demand for software engineering jobs will be less and pay will be less. Idk what are your guy’s thoughts on this.

  4. Great video as always! Tuomas, if you learned Django, could you upload a video about it? I'm heading towards my intermediate level of Python and thinking of learning it in depth before applying for a software engineer position. (+With my Frontend knowledge and React) Maybe your opinion and thought on the Python tool would be really valuable for beginners like us 🙂

  5. I discovered your channel few weeks ago and I really like your videos. I'm learning to code by myself and I would like to get as far as you did. You did a great job! You are a big inspiration for me. Anyway I just ordered the book 🙂

  6. Dear influencer! First of all, thank you very much for being valuable and motivative! You perfectly mentioned meanings like working hard as much as we can while we are young! Recently I’ve graduated from UK university, then had 1 year gap to help my parents, then started to learn new skills like SMM and Data Analytics. Failed 3 times to apply for CS or Data Science for different universities. Didn’t give up and applied for Data Assistant position to help Stanford Business School professor. It’s still interesting and very insightful position but I want to move forward and want to learn a coding and hit the software engineering job! 2023 needs to be full of learning!

  7. I really enjoyed your perspective and sharing your insights about what it takes to be a software engineer. What you said is so right as a developer my self in new york its very relatable.

  8. Hi I love your videos, I have a question I want to study computer science I went to a community college and there said first before I can study computer science courses that I need to take special ed like learn film English but I don't want that I want computer science do you know if that's true when you enter a community college?

  9. Thank you for all of your videos. This is something I would really like to do but always scared to fail or get overwhelmed easily. I am watching as many of your videos as I can and apply them at my own pace to learn. Thank you for being so awesome and helping.
