The amount of character catharsis in one single episode… Every single moment of development in this season make moments like these hit a thousand times harder. Thorfinn's progression throughout this season has put tears in my eyes twice these past two weeks. And we're only getting started. 🥲

the feels hit many times in this episode. the empty part, then the old master motivated him, then pater 'don't lose hope', then the punch. sheeesh
Interesting to think about: this episode, Thorfinn saw three 'ghosts' which shared something in common. The village mother, his father, and Askeladd.
Aside from all being dead, what did they have in common?
They all believed in Thorfinn's capacity to grow and become a better person.

Thorfinn's got that Troll blood
I love how both this episode and this section in the manga, start with Thorfinn's dream of him falling and ends with him falling. Gave me chills in both.
All I'll say is MAPPA/ WIT better not drop the ball on next one Ep. 8 and 9 are VERY IMPORTANT (they did a great job with this though, I think they know how much people like this part of Farmland).

Man that scene of the wheat destroyed was heartbreaking. It hit differently for me because I know how hard farming even in this day and age from working on my grandpa's farm. I couldn't imagine how devastating it would have been back in the day to see your crops destroyed. 10/10 episode 🔥
