  1. I swear i dont see they change that much. DId they change at all since the last two episodes?? Am i crazy? They look exactly the same to me.

  2. Come on, Arnheid is his perosnal slave, we all knew he was banging her from the beginning, no one is ignorant here, come on lol, lets not act surprised

  3. Nah bro turkey and chicken ass be bussing no sus shit y'all need to try it, bro someday take a bit out if that juicy saucy turkey ass si u can fibd out yourself 😌

  4. That ending is also an answer to Einar's question if she can ever be free. With Ketil wanting her to stay with him, the answer is no.

  5. I love your discussion about how Thorgil is like his mother, Olmar is like his father. Ketil more than likely married his wife for a dowry of land and slaves(as was expected).

  6. Ketil, like most people is full of contradictions and hypocritical layers to his character. On one side, he tries to treat the slaves better than most at the time, even offering them an out (most times) and isn't cruel per say yet he is cruel in another way, he doesn't stand up for his own beliefs and others suffer for it and it's clear Arnheid doesn't have a way out, after all she's his favorite slave and that look at the end says a thousand words about how she feels, she doesn't want to be there in bed with him, it's a look of complete and utter resignation.

Vinland keeps setting itself apart from the rest in portraying the human condition, the gray space we all have inside us, no one is purely evil and no one is purely good, there are complex dynamics everywhere.

  7. This episode alone shows what a weak and cowardly person Ketil is 😞. I mean, he's kind, he doesn't like violence, but he has the power not to do it. Ketil just sits and waits for him to be given a suitable option, and does not follow his ideals. In simple words, he is afraid to be himself.

  8. Btw it was crazy to me, after this episode when Thorfinn and Einar had the conversation, about when is she getting free? Ig that at the moment, I'm sorry for my man Einar but she never getting free 😭😭😭

  9. I think you guys missunderstand the wife of Ketil a little bit.
It is not that she treads slaves subhuman. Sure she of course doesn't treat them as equals, but the slap was rather out of spite for Arnheid, not because she was a slave per se. Arnheid is her Husbands Personal Attendant, and this episode it is revealed that yes, that also means she has to sleep with him. Who doesn't sleep with him if he lays with Arnheid? It is his wife, who is not stupid and can count one and one together.
Which her comment in retrospect pretty much reveals, that Arnheid and Einar would be a more fitting couple [than Arnheid and Ketil]
