  10. I personally can’t stand all of the hug fests that go on between players and teams. Instead of hugging your opponent why don’t you tell them yer gonna kick their ass and there’s nothing they gonna do about it. This era ain’t that great.

  18. I've tried to watch this with an open mind but this is one of the worst sports shows ever. Nick Wright is the epitome of the asshole that says stupid and crazy things. He knows nothing about basketball. If he actually has an official vote I've lost all respect for media voters. Yeah, let's play AD who is fragile as a glass vase with an overweight and always out of shape Luka who's all about his own numbers.

  19. I'm a retired 66 year old who loves basketball and football. Many decades ago baseball was my favorite sports to watch with my parents, since their death my interest has severely diminished.
    THE SUPER BOWL GAME WAS GREAT…… THE ALL-STAR GAME WAS TRASH! Charles Barkley maybe right about the 3point shot. Frankly, I'm sick of it, too many poor 3point shooters. It's a poor percentage shot for 83.33% of the league.

    That's not gonna happen Nick because it would minimize Stephen Curry. The Warriors fan-base would go ballistic and the ratings WILL drop tremendously and Steve Kerr would challenge that criteria.
    Maybe some NBA decision-makers can consider some the following………..Try going back to the TRADITIONAL positions such as center, 2 guards, 2 forwards, ADD an extra defensive coach to each side, and keep the same format for charities & draft, add 3 more players, longer quarters, make time for practices, a game plan, increase the winner with a 2.5:1 in pay ratio, and with extra incentives for most (steals, blocks, rebounds.) REQUIREMENTS to enter into ALL-STAR GAME a player must have played a maximum of (2÷3)×82= 55 – 10 = 45, or a player can only miss 7 to 10 games before ALL-STAR Break, regular technical fouls <=2, only 1 ejectionion (include taunting a player or referee)…. NO PLAYER w/flagrant 2 fouls that results in suspension + six-figure find will be permitted to play. Let's see if the experts can add, delete, or find the solution with some of my suggestions. Just a concerned fan…..

    Magic and bird based on there play were always considered great players based on individual play and achievement and what made people put Magic ahead of Bird was he won 2 more rings and beat him in the finals twice in the same era

    Nick is making another strawman point. We always viewed players being great and praised them and THEN separated them by leading teams to chips look at Montana vs Bradshaw

    What actually happened was the spurs lengthening Duncan and Manus career by using load management and then other NBA teams copying them

  32. If i was in my prime and nba all star i would be jacked to play a competetive game against the best players in world on same court for a game. I think i would be bummed that no one takes it serious. These guys ball out in summer in some heated games im sure. Why not do it for the fans? I dont get it but i do get it. Nba stars are just so pampered and Silver dont give a shit. David Stern was great commish and i dont think he would put up with all star game way its played now.
