  1. Yes the behind the scenes are good as it shows the amount of time and effort you have to put in to post a video/short or tutorial. You should start a timer on your phone for a short and a tutorial and once your happy with the final, show your phone on screen to show people how much time and effort it is to make content, especially the amount of content you put out. As there are some D#@k heads out there that just love leaving bad comments! Keep up the good work 👊👍

  2. I think It’s good to let people not only focusing on the fancy magic trick but also show how much time and effort u spend on. As I can tell u are a self-demanding person which make u the best . Keep in up Jason !! 💪🏻

  3. I have to say I know nothing about Yu Gi Oh, so the final trick wasn't all that exciting for me, but seeing the process that went into making the trick was really exciting to watch. I'm so amazed at the work you're doing and I can't wait to see how you progress over the year!

  4. This was awesome to watch, it’s really great seeing people being so transparent with all of the work, thought, and struggle that goes in to making content. As a person who has an absolutely awful time focusing, I appreciate this!

  5. This was very very good Jason, you shouldn't beat yourself, it's different and that's what magic is about it's about taking it to another level, it's nice if you never seen the routine before but once you see the same routine it gets kind of a boring. So you did very well you did something new and it's exciting even to see how the video was made was very exciting. Thanks keep it coming my friend

  6. This was great! I think a lot of those takes for the short looked good, but only you know what you expect from your videos

  7. You know you know you’re stuff when you ‘just do it’ without having to prepare a script or even the tricks.

Now about that video editing… urgh the work is never done

Edit: I don’t mean the video editing is bad, just always more to do

  8. I absolutely love this video ! Even though I'm no content creator, I try to film myself practicing my script in front of a camera. It's somehow really reassuring to see someone else go through the same mental struggles and frustration as me, thanks for sharing!

  9. Man this was such a unique way to watch card magic on YouTube. I love you creativity much respect, so glad to have found your channel! I can imagine those frustrations stacking up on you with people complaining, just know the majority of your fans have your back

  10. Really enjoyed the inside into your process. Sometimes it's easy to watch a short and forget how much effort might have gone into it. Thanks for sharing.

  11. Dude this man is so cool I love his content also dude did you draw that Naruto and Sasuke picture cause it looks really nice
Edit: is that wall of anime posters?

  12. This was a really cool video to watch! I always thought you planned out your short-form content much more than this, and to see your creative routine like this is truly inspirational. Thank you for sharing this!

  13. i love this
just the real row way this video is makes it so relatable
and shows that what we see is just a little part of what goes into the content and the magic creation

  14. One of my favorite videos so far this year, awesome! I think it's a prerequisite that all magicians must suffer from some form of ADD/ADHD, I feel like it's just too easy for us to get distracted on all the great tricks to play around with. Thanks for being vulnerable Jason, and for putting in the work; we appreciate you.

  15. I say this with Love: it was great to watch you mess up. Thanks for letting us in man. It took courage. As someone who wishes he could post on YouTube one day, I learn a lot from watching your process.

  16. Good job bro! The peek behind the scenes shows that your not just great at your craft but that you are also a cool person😎. Besides showing your talent you are also showing the struggles of creating the content that shows it properly. 👍👍

  17. I found that YouTube took too much of my time and money. It's tough travelling for work and doing YouTube when you have kids. Maybe when we're all older but I'm just gonna do other things for now.

    But I gotta say

In all the transparent videos about creation I've seen, this is the clearest example of how it actually feels to do it. Fantastic 👍

  18. There’s always the things that you don’t like with ur work that you keep trying to improve so it looks it’s best and this captures that perfectly. Showing the mind and process of someone who’s trying to make the best video possible for there viewers. I really like this, keep it up!

  19. It was humbling for me to see that you too struggle with capturing the perfect moment of a routine. This video made me realize that it's not just me all this happens to when trying to film social media content. I have way less experience, by far, in comparison to you but, this vulnerability you made public for us helped ease the anxiety I get even thinking about trying to film what I can do. Not to mention the nerves that takeover when I want to do something on camera are still being worked on by myself. Thank you for this though. Very much appreciated by not only me but, everyone I see below commenting on this one. You just chnaged a crap ton of lives with this video.

  20. It's cool to see your process. Considering your comment on how ruthless the internet can be and your thoughts on starting the video, for a fairly common viewer as me and perhaps just because I'm not very familiar with YuGiOh, I think if you spread the deck to reveal the faces as your first move, that would have tied the presentation together and should cover some of that worry you had about the critical viewer. If you pulled the "head/body" card and gave a brief explanation "This is Exodia's body. If you also get the cards for the left and right arms and left and right legs, you automatically win!" You wouldn't need to show all the cards up front, just help the viewer understand the premise. Then proceed to explain how your friends don't want to play against you. No matter how they shuffle it seems like Exodia's cards always rise to the top. Keep up the good work and stay inspired! It looks like you'll be a butterfly emerging from its cocoon after this year!

  21. That's how I was this morning while trying to record a song. When I posted it, I even wrote in the title "take 7" lol, but that was a lie. Cause it was more like, take 15…..

  22. I'm not a content creator, but I have shared in the same frustration when it comes to practicing with a camera. You got to get it right! I liked watching your process, the glimpse into what it actually takes to make one of these videos. Even a short one. Not to mention editing and all that stuff. I know you didn't solicit ideas or anything, and I don't know much about how Yu-Gi-Oh is played, but the game isn't played with producing cards like you would do a regular deck. So what if there was an implementation with card magic that also fell within some of the rules of Yu-Gi-Oh? Like more of a stacked deck routine, you start out with hand that just gets you to getting that ultimate card set quickly. And that may only be interesting to a subset of your audience. I don't know. I'm just rambling now. Good work! I like it.

  23. As a creator I really enjoy watching the process behind other creator's projects, so this was cool! Thanks Jason!

  24. Interesting to see the other side.
Are you going to perform at a particular venue at the FRINGE? I tried to look you up the other day but I couldn't find where and when you gonna perform.
