  4. Such an interesting parallel. Thorfinn, who was once hyper violent and extremely aggressive Norse warrior is now away from violence. Now Canute, the once Christian cowardly prince now is immersed in violence.

  7. I do not think season 2 is slow. It's just different compared to season 1. It is more philosophical and less action based but that doesn't mean there aren't hype af moments in this season. There is a reason why it's considered the best arc of Vinland if not in anime franchise. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

  16. You wanna know what’s crazy? Instead of reusing footage from the first season for that flashback segment, they redid the whole thing. There is a comparison video you can look up. They are going in hard with this show and I love MAPPA for that.

  22. Danelaw was the name of the land that was controlled by the Danes in England. Danegeld was the name of the tribute that England had to pay to the Danes so they wont invade further, it means "Danish gold". Fun fact: I heard that English thugs still call the "protection money" Danegeld.
