  1. im from Turkey and it is horrifying how many buildings have collapsed like sandcastles, the news keep updating people on how it is going, the temperatures are really low especially at night so it's even harder for people.
a small child got out with his pet bird in his hand and another one with her cat which aren't much but the fact that small animals like pet birds surviving the freezing temperatures is giving some kind of hope for families

  2. I live in turkey, and these disasters are mortifying i woke up at 4 am feeling my room shake and thought i might be dizzy or like imagining things but i saw the doors move violently and said yep earthquake and woke my mother up to tell her

  3. I'm a teen. I can't do much alone, yes. But all the classes in my school have collected donations from the students for medicine ( wasn't mandatory, the student union proposed the idea, but everyone chipped in ) and some people who own tents gave them away for the people who lost their homes. I'm pretty sure we raised around 3000-3500 bgn. I hope the money does get to the ones in need of it. May whatever god they believe in bless them.

  4. Wow that must be painful I’m half Arab and I care for my people and turkey and Syria. That is really sad , Thank Allah for helping us live please pray for the people who got hurt or died and the sick during when it happen thank you Allah

  5. If you can't donate, do what you can to spread the facts and the news and keep yourself updated on what's happening

  6. My dad was just in turkey to visit family and I am so grateful full that he is okay I tear up when ever I see the videos and I really hope things will get better 😢

  7. I am also from Turkey and we have many people and countries helping us, so i would actually advice anyone who maybe doesnot have much to donate to please donate to Syria. We have so many resources but they dont and i am so sorry for that. There are tons of people still waiting to be rescude but poeple in Syria are all alone. They dont have anything. Also certain organizations side with the Syrian Government and they obviously dont help the riots in the effected area so please make sure the money you donate to Syria actually ends up to those who are effected…May Allah bless us all.
Pls keep the hole Umma and those who are in need in your Duas ❤️

  8. My local grocery does this thing to round up your total for charity and the money goes to turkey and Syria. I hope lots of people do this cuz for us its barely anything but if we all do it, it will become a big number

  9. I honestly feel like Allah is angry at us because these type of things have only been happening in Muslim countries like
The HUGE Flood in Pakistan & The 7.5 magnitude earthquakes in Turkey and Syria

  10. When I heard about it I was shocked and when my mom told me that my aunt was in turkey and we don’t know if she is alive or not but I’m sending all my prayers to the victims of the earthquake

  11. So I’m Syrian but don’t live in Syria. My mom’s side does though. My aunties and cousins were trapped for 3 days in the freezing cold. Seeing you make a cake for it is heart warming❤️

  12. Thank you so much for addressing this. You are one of the only people I’ve seen addressing this problem and I can’t thank you enough. Though I’m not from that part of Asia I’m half south Asian, and it’s wonderful to hear you talk about this. I wish the best for all of the countries. Everyone out there- stay strong ❤

  13. My school had a table out where you could donate stuff like sweaters and blankets and more thing the needed so I was planning on donating some sweaters but the stopped it three days earlier because they said they had enough stuff ,I think that is a bit weird have other people also had this happen when they try to donate stuff

  14. mostly commenting to push this in the algorithm but the situation is seriously so awful, i hope ppl get out safely and the families who have lost people recover well

  15. I was watching the news, and they pulled a baby out of the rubble, and I stopped breathing. He eventually moved, and I broke into tears. An old man was rescued, but he said he was right next to his wife when his building collapsed, and he thought she was dead because she just disappeared and he was left alone. I didn't remember to breathe until I was in physical pain. A man that happened to be nearby reporting on something saw a mon trying to run with a young child holding her hand and an infant in her arm. He ran up and picked up her child and ran with her to save the family. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. A 7.8 with aftershocks. I had to turn off the TV. I couldn't keep watching. I can't even begin to imagine how the survivors feel.

  16. I am so upset about this issue, I want people to spread it like Covid as many people do not know this has happened. The earthquake is horrible and we need as many people as possible helping out . Sending love and luck to the people in turkey ❤❤
