  1. They seem to be going a slightly different route here than the LN and manga.

    SPOILERS!!✋️⚠️⚠️

In the other versions of the story Marielle goes after Illusia alone. And she's not constantly throwing "hE kilLed Gregory" at Myria either – quite the opposite.
After the heat of the moment has passed she realizes that nothing about this situation makes sense under the assumption Illusia was evil. Plague dragons are known for leaving trails of corpses in their wake, yet he only killed one person, eliminated a monster threatening the entire village and then just left. He could've crushed Myria in an instant when she stood before him, but instead pushed her away without hurting her. Also, the fact that he fled the scene makes no sense in retrospect, seeing as Marielle is nowhere near powerful enough to pose a serious threat to him, as she begrudgingly admits to herself.
Finally, none of the villagers saw the dragon make a single threatening move towards Gregory before he killed him, and examining his body leads to the discovery that the tremor attack of the Little rock dragon had crushed his internal organs, leaving him with minutes if not mere seconds left to live when Illusia decapitated him.

Contemplating all of this, the half elf begins to tentatively suspect that Gregory's death was only a mercy killing, that Myria had been right to trust Illusia and that they, the village, may have condemned and thrown stones at the hero that saved them. So she goes alone into the woods to dispel her doubts one way or another.

I'm not sure why they changed that so much here. Maybe they want to showcase the strength of Myrias belief in Illusia by having her hold on to it even in the face of her mentors constant condemnation of it?🤔
That MIGHT also be a good angle …if I wasn't quite afraid of this series being unceremonously cut off after one season like so many others…😓

  2. I love the concept of this show, but the the cliffhanger is actually making me mad, specially with how much they're dragging each episode – to a point that it actually feels worst than what Dragon Ball ever did.
