Don’t get me wrong I want to love this episode but damn if they extended it would be a 10/10 they cut some stuff and I know Ryu and Uro are side characters but if they had not even 10 more mins we could have had a lot more emotion to these characters showing some backstory instead of an exposition dump. The quick paragraphs of Uro’s backstory is lazy and conveys nothing emotionally. Yuta putting the ring on and the domain clash was peak. I know I’m nitpicking but the redirection of the granite blast by Yuta and Ryu’s longing gaze disappointed me greatly. 8/10 could’ve been a masterpiece if it wasn’t constrained to a measly 27 mins. Still amazing but damn I think I was hyping myself too much that id be disappointed with anything.

I’m not complaining, Uro and Ryu deserve all the budget.

IDK if Gege ever explained things about Ishigori and Uro's Domains but just the fact that Ishigori gets to have a guaranteed hit on his Granite Blast makes his Domain one of the deadliest, while simple, Granite Blast is just something that no one can tank consistently, if he gets to spam it in his Domain it's pretty much over, like, even Sukuna's Cleave and Dismantle can be tanked to a degree that you don't lose a limb if you reinforce with CE but 3 Granite Blast in a row and I call it quits :v
