To those who are wondering, this fine Queen is none other than Eleanor of Aquitaine, Duchess of Aquitaine, former Queen of France, Crusader, Queen of England and Matriarch of Plantagenet Dynasty. She is literally the reason why at one point England controlled close to 60 percent of France, via her marriage to King Henry II, and also ran his administration and court, while also having give birth to 11 CHILDREN, 9 of which were from Richard. And mind you, this was in 12th century Middle Ages, when even surviving one childbirth could be a gamble, and she not only did that 11 times, but she lived to the age of 80, an astonishing feat.
She was easily one of the most influential and powerful women in European history, and the fact that she is largely overshadowed by her second husband, Richard the Lionheart and John the Lackland, two of her sons, is a grave injustice to this colossus. She lived to see the height of her family's power, and witness the beginning of it's downfall, squandered by her very children, and yet she went to extreme lengths for them. When Richard imprisoned on his way back, she raised a 100 thousand silver marks as his ransom, and personally delivered it, when she was at the age of 70. She also ran his kingdom while he was off in his Crusade, and one of the reasons for him being actually remembered so well, when in reality, he wasn't all that great of a person.
I hate Fate universe for not involving any Turk faction. I am 90 percent sure authors hate Turks which is weird because we literally dont have any relations with japan more than 1000 years. Like I can understand if this was some western production but these guys literally sucking up to people they fought in WW2. Only Turk in the series is Atilla and they literally made it an alien then explicitly specify that Atilla is not Turk and just ruling them. I cant explain how many popular servants have connections or rivaliries with Turks for example hasan sabbah literally was rival of selçuklu(Seljuks) Turks. Vizier Nizamülmülk was his literal rival and some says sources says they were classmates maybe even friends who had a fall out with each other and turn bitter rivals. Mete Han(Mao-tun) literally the father of all regular armies as he is the first person to use decimal system in the army. But no we have Hans Christian Andersen for fucks sake. I dont care how you view Turks but you cant deny that we are literally one of the most influential race in the human history.
