  5. As far as I remember, the dodgeball passing to the player outside the court was also done during the dodgeball game in HxH Greed Island arc. The dude with nen gorillas did it

  9. Well, It's not really about Tomo gotten stronger… more about Tomo-chan is a Girl (Roll Credits)… I don't know if this count as a minor spoiler or not since the anime at this point already show us bits and piece of the content… But to be safe… Spoiler Warning(?).

    As you see in this episode Jun said he want to "beat" Tomo… What did that actually mean? You remember that when they were young, Jun was a gamer boy who got drag around and into the athletic kind of stuff by the sporty Tomo right? See the trope? (He is my goal!) But Jun then come to realized what Tomo actually is when they were in middle school…

    So… When your life goal turned out not to be what it suppose to be, Combine with a new fussy strange feeling that suddenly came out of nowhere when you learned about what exactly that so-called goal of your is actually is…. Basically, What we see here is Jun (kinda) playing himself.

    You'll see more details of this conflict of his as the series goes on…

    Also, they cut this from the anime, but in the manga, the gym teacher really struggles to tell Tomo she'll have to be on the boys' team because she knows it will upset her and Tomo is super nice.

  24. In Canada, we occasionally played with those rules. When you get hit, you're just sent to the edge. Can't move, but you can still catch and throw. It keeps people on their toes and the game requires more skill.

  31. Got in trouble sharing this on other reactions but just sharing what was happening when I read this years ago. I'm pretty sure that when it got to these two stories in the Manga, I got the feeling(or idea for a theory since it seems saying feeling triggers people?) that Misuzu had budding romantic feelings for Tomo that she was doing her best to fight off by getting Tomo together with Jun since that's what Tomo wants.

  33. 2:40 Sorry if I misunderstood, but you did get here that the joke is that every year Tomo brags about being older than Jun and Misuzu? Not a whole year older, but months, so for part of the year her age is as if she were a year older.
