  8. Honestly I feel the same about middle school as ricchan. My 9th grade year overlapped with COVID so half way through the year it was remote learning and the same in 10th. When I finally went to in person school; I had moved and it was legit dead silent and no one talked to each other. I live every day knowing I peaked in middle school and still look back at those times fondly. I hated my high school experience so much I dropped out and got my ged lol.

  10. I love Taira a lot; the poor guy has been through some bad experiences and deserves to have good times with his friends. Considering the opening he will probably have a romance, but compared to the other couples, it will be more complicated if we take his self-esteem problems into account.

  12. so, seems like they skipped a chapter. I was prepared to get the nishi yamada goodness next week, but it seems they pushed chapter 16 back to give us 15, 17 and 18 in one episode. might be for the better, actually.

    anyways, rihito really needs to see a shrink. being that much of a downer at his age can't be healthy.

    also, taira finally got a well deserved "win". it's rare to see him feel apprciated and smile like that.

    and yeah, i can relate to nishi. being this neverous around others can make gauging your other emotions rather difficult, as the nervousness tends to drown out everthing else. took me a long time to get past that stage.

    also also, reagarding suzuki and tani; they've got us in the first half, ngl. I really thought suzuki was reading too much into things, but turns out she read everything perfectly.

    this show just doesn't miss. no painful misunderstandings, no prolonged drama. people actually talk about their feelings and communicate with each other. it's remarkable how easy things suddenly become, if people are actually willing to do that.

  13. I'm really loving the show. I especially appreciate how natural the dialogue feels and the fact that every character has different dynamics with the other characters.

  15. 10:13 I really like how Tani is being a little vulnerable by asking Taira for advice in this episode, as in the previous episode it was Taira who prompted Tani about relationships, revealing a bit of his own insecurities.

  21. Remember, Suzuki is the type of people who can read room very well, so it makes sense that she is the only person in the group who noticed the girl whom Yamada mentioned is actually Nishi. Great Episode, I also love it❤

  26. im so glad this airs the same day as journal and witch and kaya is not scary because after watching those two anime back to back i need a palate cleanser
