I don’t know if I did this last week, but here are so more fun facts to help enhance the experience!

By this point in Strange Fake it has only been 2 days since the battle between Gilgamesh and Enkidu in the desert, so a lot has happened in a short time so far (which is good considering this Grail War is only supposed to last 7 days as opposed to the usual 14 days like back in Fuyuki).

Taylor is actually correct about John’s backstory. His mother was on the plane that Kiritsugu shot down in Fate/Zero. That makes 2 people in this grail war with a family member who died on that flight along with the master of True Berserker’s grandfather.

We actually had a reveal of Fake Caster’s true name from him using his IRL signature to create John’s new arm and Watcher saying his last name when talking to Sigma. I will put a spoiler warning when I say it though as there’s probably someone who will still consider it a spoiler, so just skip past it if you consider it one.

This one I will mention only because it’s about Flat’s VA and I lost my crap when I realized this yesterday, but his VA is Matsuoka Yoshitsugu, the VA for Kirito from SAO, Inosuke from Demon Slayer, and Bell Cranel from DanMachi. The fact that I didn’t realize that was crazy to me because I enjoy his work as a VA so much, and I didn’t want anyone else to not be aware of that.

Finally, to answer Sherm’s question of how a Berserker can be a watch instead of a buffed-out, crazed guy. Berserker’s aren’t all the same. Literally any servant can be modified at the point of summoning to be part of the berserker class. Being a Berserker class just turns them crazier and increases their combat parameters. In this case, Jack does not have a defined body, only his legend and the theories of who he may be. Also because Jack is already the embodiment of chaos, him becoming a berserker actually ended up working in his favor as the extra craziness actually ended up canceling out his normal craziness, so he’s got the personality and temperament of a normal servant with the increased combat parameters of a berserker. Hopefully that helps explain it.
