I am not sure if someone has made this comment way before me, but I think that Ai was raped, but kept quiet out of fear that he might kill her. And when news got out about her having twins, the rapist found out, got nervous, and told the crazed fan about it hoping to kill her and the kids so no authorities can find out what he did.

I haven't read the Manga but I don't understand why some people thinks Kana is better than Akane at this point.

She's the one who finds out about Hikaru, discovered Ai was pregnant during she research, can copy the acting of Ai (that even stunned Aqua)

And not to mention despite of being an actress can cook, clean and just overall nice girlfriend. Kana just acts Tsundere even till Aqua's death. I don't mean to attack the other side but I just don't understand why?

I will never forget how Akane glazers were so intense about her against Kana, but in my opinion. Akane was indeed intelligent something I didnt like about the show is how they forced this to be around Aqua to the point of making her look like obsession even in his death. Even thought, Akane is definitily not one of my liked characters, she indeed was a stronger woman, but the show instead of making her own path, just made her whole concept be around Aqua and his family, even to the point of making her almost died by this. Which is sad, because she had too much potential.

It's ridiculous! If you count his past life, Aqua is already 40 years old, and he spent years trying to find the culprit without success, while Akane figured it out with just a little thought 🤡
