In MF Ghost Season 3, Episode 4 (Turn 29), Ogata and Okuyama plan to strengthen the 86 in preparation for the next race. Meanwhile, Kanata and Ren visit Niigata, where Ren’s grandmother lives. Kanata helps clean the grave and remembers his late mother, learning the meaning of Obon. Ren’s grandmother says that her spirit is always by his side, helping him when he’s in trouble.
