I have 4 rolls of "Emergency" toilet paper. They sit in the back forgotten and I don't consider them part of the "normal" toilet paper used. So when the "normal" toilet paper is almost out, I go buy more. If for whatever reason something happens and I run out of "normal" toilet paper, then I have the 4 rolls of "emergency" toilet paper. I've gone 5 years without having to use them. I do swap them out every few months just so that I don't have the same 4 rolls from years ago sitting there and it's not degraded.
