I do like the requirement Noah had which he didn't let the participants in on. He was testing their strengh/techniques but real test was to see if they really follow orders and attack without holding back not afraid to injure him. He needs someone who can put his faith and trust just as much they put his faith in him. Trust and respect work both ways. Looking forward forward to see how much stronger he beacame and what kind things trials and challenges await him now that he is 12 years old

Noah really lives up to saying noblesse oblige to him people are treasures. He does use money on him self but use money the people and by doing so he does not only help them but people and helps them by showing them their potential to reach further and go further. Those same people not only will be loyal to him put also push them self to better because they want to but also because someone believes in them and trust them because once you have someone that believes in you and pushes you on. You will achieve things you did not thing were possible before.

This episode introducing Shirley was peak and she is peak. Just like Noah said, she is indeed one of the many treasures that is people.

Love the episode, especially in how it did introduce this new character Shirley. Who followed Noah’s instructions on attacking him with everything they got. Because you could see from the other knights there that they second guessed themselves with a bit of hesitation before striking at him. So I enjoy seeing Shirley become a new knight. She clearly has some good plot that we did see here. That I would love to see more of.
Now other scenes that I liked are how they took up the downsides of having deeply loyal people to you. As that knight who was rewarded for his intel. Did wanna spy on the rebels for more intel. Which is a very dangerous job especially without any training in espionage. So he sadly got caught and his loyalty for not telling anything just made his treatment worse.
Then we also had that scene of Noah destroying a glass statue of an old goddess. To make his brother statue more worth which surprised me at first. Because I’m more of the opinion that one should give such art work to museum rather than letting them increase the net worth for the ultra wealthy. But idk maybe that is just me lol.
I also did appreciate the maids discussion stuff while working. As you don’t often see the stories focus on them when they are by themselves
6 years later, and I swear the waifus still all look the same.

the one thing i'm hoping for, is that, when he gets a love interest, or any romance, it isn't with one of the already presented characters that are pouring over him and is positions of servitude (the maid, knight and singer all probably already fell for him, but i'm hoping is not reciprocated due to all the power dinamics that would erupt on a relation like that)
Now that you mention it, this makes me think of Krai or Cid. Like, they all in their world to do selfish things to increase their own power/relic collection. But what they end up doing just winds up benefiting the world. This dude is just more direct about it and has the wisdom to back it up, while the others just have blind luck
I understand why they were about to arrest her, but at the same time, they quickly forgot what the Prince said before this competition started.
Good episode imho. I think Noah already has a potential age-appropriate love interest in the merchant's daughter, but I'm not sure if the story will go in that direction.
Selfishly selfless is the key…..he benefits from raising those around him 😉
I do wonder if F + F, is an increase or not in stats. I think it could be if F is a range of number, but i do wonder.
Now we hit a time skip, I wonder what might change, or plot will happen now.
