My own F1 Wind Tunnel??

My own F1 Wind Tunnel??

Got my hands on this super cool mini wind tunnel – the Windsible.

As a huge F1 fan and new model car collector, this cool little gadget is such a fun addition to my collection!

I had such a fun time trying this wind tunnel out, especially after doing my research on the aerodynamics of F1 cars, downforce and drag. Super cool to see my study come to life in my hands.

If you’re looking to get one for yourself, the company that makes these, Fun-tech Lab, have ongoing preorders. You can check it out here:

These come in 3 different sizes, 1:64 (featured in this video), 1:24, and 1:18.

  1. Does the fog liquid recirculate in the wind tunnel or do you constantly have to buy and btw random question but can you use water…

  2. 3 things. 1, i have a love hate relationchip with that wind tunnel. 2, i hate it because it $250 for the smallest model, and its not realistic. i mean just buy an empty pringles can and a pack of menthol and put your hot wheel inside and i just saved you $200. also, it gives no space to see the turbulence in the back of the car and maybe its the friends we made along the way but it has no contraption cones.3, i love this thing because in a way its worth the money and is the coolest desk buddy, night light, etc… ever.

  3. This is a terrible wind tunnel. The flow is turbulent before it even hits the car. The contraction zone is too small and there's no space or mechanisms to create laminar flow. It's an overpriced shelf ornament for people don't understand aerodynamics
