  1. That style of dining isn’t very enjoyable to me, I appreciate the artistic nuances but it’s too tedious and drawn out, some places are just simply pompous acting like foam and dry ice is some sort of wizardry

  2. I don't mind eating stuff like this as long as all that food costs $6.99 because that's all it's worth and I'm being generous. If you pay more than that it shows you have more money than brains. I don't really eat large meals because of my age and restrictions so I would probably get full with this course 2x.

  3. Finally in my hometown! I wanna see more! 😍

I feel like you might have already visited, but have you done eleven madison and park? If you're in nyc, now's the time, my friend!

  4. It never ceases to amaze me that this shit interests people. Without fail, I see a mix of lame hate watchers and lame supporters of this guy’s consumable hobby in the comments. Fine dining is a marketing scheme that encourages tremendous waste in supply line, panders to those who desire superficial innovation and remains a “status symbol” for those without the taste to realize they’re being ripped off or those rich enough not to care. If expensive food were the best food in the world, it wouldn’t only be losers with trust funds and guys like this eating it.
Historically, food has always defined by cultural influence, technique and accessibility. Food like this will always be defined by its excess and exclusivity. Fuck your caviar and truffles.
