Anime Review Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World Season 2 Episode 2

Greetings and salutations, my fellow Fins. Thank you for joining me for another anime review, Our Last Crusade, season 2, episode two. So, starting off from last time, Iska and Alice accidentally ran into each other at this uh smoothie place and yeah, they ordered the exact same thing and then yeah, realizes um yeah, that who who each other is. And yeah, we have um Ren here. Obviously, uh she always um I mean she doesn’t um completely hate Isa or anything like that, but obviously overprotective of Alice and she knows what’s going on between those two. And yeah, so that’s right. He But basically in the end, Alice’s people come to see her as well. They wonder who is. They just So Alice just says, “Yeah, he’s he’s just lost.” and he’s telling and yeah asks him to move along anyway. She was just giving directions and that’s right now they’re following Isa and yeah they realize she’s with sisp even with glasses on. I mean they know what their her hair looks like. I mean also um her size and everything. And a funny moment here you can tell she’s already starting to get jealous. She’s crushed the cup and she’s Yeah. And we get all these funny moments. Uh Ren keeps Yeah. keeps going, “Lady Alice, look.” And mentions what Sisbell is doing, how she’s getting closer to Isa. Yeah. Has his has her arm around him. And and Alice is Yeah. obviously just um getting even more jealous as it goes along. And yeah, now we get to the part where Isa has cream on his cheek and yeah, so she she eats it. She she puts his puts her hand on gets rid of the gets rid of the cream on Isa’s cheek and she and yeah uh this means war is what it looks like. Wait one sec. Anyway, yeah. So she she wants to go to war with Sispel over over Isa now. So Then yeah, she almost she almost reaches boiling point and oh that’s right. So so Ren basically goes after them herself. She asked Alice to to settle settle down, cool down elsewhere. But yeah, she just wanted to know what those two were doing there. And yeah, so Ren, that’s right, Ren and Alice, they’re both looking for Sisbel to protect her as that was the queen’s orders. Of course. Um, the reason why she’s That’s right. The reason why Isa and his crew is helping Sisbel is because of Mismiss. You know, Sisbell is helping out Mism. Can see all her power with those patches and her her own magic. And then we have a funny scene here where Salinger is actually in the same area. He’s just there eating and he has a bunch of women fawning over him. I mean, they they obviously like him. That’s right. He’s still not wearing a shirt or anything. He’s still wearing the same clothes. So, I guess they obviously like seeing someone like that um half naked, but yeah. Ah, that’s right. Um the emperor from the first episode that that him that guy there who is with Rissia at the end. Uh he’s obviously putting uh you whatever plans he has in motions anyway. And yeah, so yeah, once again, yeah, Ren uh asks Is to come see her alone and yeah, there’s always um going to be some kind of tension with those two anyway. But yeah, she believes him. Yeah, she she knows that she’s not going to that Isco won’t do any harm even though he’s supposed to be the enemy. Like she knows enough about him by now. And yeah, so next scene is Alice wants to see Isa alone. uh she puts a um knife to him and uh she kicks him kicks him in there and this is what the room looks like. It’s completely frozen. I think actually looks pretty cool with that um detail anyway. And so obviously uh she wanted to um have have fun with Iska and because obviously was the only one with him. But uh yeah, just the usual uh jealous stuff anyway. And now she wants to um experience the same things that Sispelle experienced this morning. So she obviously puts his arm around him, gets closer, and then here, yeah, let’s just say she gets um real close. Uh that’s the reaction. Uh both of them are obviously blushing and um they they obviously have the feelings for each other and of course we knew uh Ren was going to come in at some point and yeah she she knew what was going to happen eventually but um either either way um basically Alice was actually um overheating um from the feelings she had from Isa and the Ren thinks she has a fever but I mean she’s fine the room actually went back to the way it was. All the ice just completely melted. Um, yeah, Ren is usually he’s just doing her usual thing. He runs away anyway, so he’s manages to get out of there. Okay. Then we go to the Imperial Palace and we hear this voice here. Huge fireball um enters. Basically, the queen is able to block it sort of um and is like burned and bleeding. But u even Elier was um hit quite a bit, but obviously she says actually they all recognize the voice. It’s Mas Lords and yeah, so they bring mask lord in in detainer, but there’s still some suspicion about whether it actually was him or not. And we um get another scene here where we have Lord Talisman and he has a I believe this is also a witch here, Vish. Uh, I don’t know how to pronounce that, but either way, he not sure if he’s scheming something or whether he does want to protect the queen. Um, it’s going to be interesting. There’s a lot of political stuff going on here that like a lot of people want to eliminate the queen. Anyway, I’m not even sure about LT’s um motives of whether she wants a throne herself. And then we get um scene here with Rissio with um this lot here, the council of whatever. And this is the saint disciples. There’s a whole bunch of them. Uh they’re all strong. And then we get this guy who is actually he’s one of the guardsmen of the emperor. So I tell you, he’s awfully strong as well. They basically they want to capture a pure blood witch anyway. They want to obviously they want to eliminate them anyway, but they still want to capture some. I guess they want to experiment and whatnot. But yeah, another uh good episode here. We had good episode. It was a good balance of uh the fun and comedy and also the serious part. So at least I I like um a good mixture of that. Um half and half is uh perfectly balanced as all things should be as they say. So yeah, once again, I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next time. So until then, thank you all for watching.
