【悲報】“発想はほぼ幼稚園児”つり目写真をアップしたフィンランドの国会議員全く反省せず。フィン人党支持者の差別への問題意識が極めて低いことも発覚し、差別が少ない国ランキングの実態が明らかに!?
Good morning, everyone commuting to work or school. It's time for Pukta's World News. Today, we'll be discussing the slanted eye controversy caused by a Finnish politician. Since then, the controversy has shown no signs of abating, and various discussions are taking place in Japan as well. It's become a real uproar . Since then, perhaps during the production of the video I posted the other day, an opinion piece by a person with deep connections to Finland and Japan was published in Finland's largest national high school. And, as you'd expect , it even mentions the Finnish Isles. It was a highly refined article. Today, I'd like to introduce this and take a closer look at the current situation and how this issue is being discussed in the Finnish Parliament . This program brings you the hottest news from overseas . This channel is perfect for both commuters and students, so please subscribe. Now, on to the main topic. You can see this, but was this yesterday? I think you just released a video addressing this issue . Miss Finland was criticized, and now Finnish politicians have jumped on the bandwagon, sparking a huge outrage over what's being described as discrimination against Asians. So, what's going on? Has it been reported in Japanese newspapers or on terrestrial television? I'm not sure, but today I 'd like to dig deeper into this. Before that, there's also this image here, which I think is a big issue for everyone. There's also this image circulating: this person, Finland's human rights ambassador, is said to be blocking Japanese people, but here he is singing, "Let's be friends, Japan and China! Let's all be friendly, with our eyes narrowed ." This was posted, adding fuel to the fire and causing a stir. Of course, this image was generated by AI. Originally, I suspected the caption was fabricated . Well, that's what people are saying, but the image itself was AI-generated . And now, there's a community note attached here. Well, there's nothing of value here, but the original post had four images, and one of them is here, right here. In the bottom right, there's a Gemini scare, that's it. And this post has an image without any scare at all, so this has fueled false outrage . So, everyone, this topic has already entered a phase where fake news is circulating, so please be careful, including Pokta . Well, I suppose with something this blatant, many people would be suspicious, but actually, looking at the replies, quite a few people believed it and are furious, really. So please be careful, everyone. This is the situation we're in right now. So, this time, it's called Sanomat, the newspaper of Hel's God. This is Hel's God Newspaper, the largest national newspaper in Finland, and an opinion piece was published there. This is by a man named Leheton, who is also Ukki. Lehto is a Finnish researcher specializing in Japanese culture and music. He holds a degree in philosophy from the University of Helsinki and currently works as a researcher at the University of Tokyo. There are various publications here, but he is also active in this field . Well, as you'd expect, this is a highly-edited article, so I'd like to share it with you. In Finland, people are not understanding the extent to which discriminatory social media posts are causing outrage in China and Japan . In recent days, racist gestures included in Miss Finland's social media posts and the open responses of Finnish politicians to them have been making the news. However, within Finland, there has been a surprisingly slow response to the current situation, especially in East Asia , where the issue is becoming a major issue, particularly in China and Japan . While the Helsinki Shimbun reports that this phenomenon is being reported , its focus is primarily on China's information influence tactics. In other words , it is arguing that China is exaggerating the issue and reporting it in this way . The assertion that the Chinese media hype is due to official intent overstates the actual problem and its scale. This is also not a one-off social media outrage limited to the country, as Hitoshima specifically portrays it. The news of the racist gestures made by Miss Finland and Finnish politicians has been widely covered in several East Asian countries, sparking disappointment and anger . This is because they are perceived as extremely insulting and offensive to East Asians . Regardless of how you explain it, this is purely racist behavior and calls into question the value of East Asians for ethnic reasons. And here, the fact that Finnish elected officials are engaging in such behavior and yet have not issued an official apology is a major issue. And here, it is important to note that this lack of deeper meaning is significant. For example, many Japanese who once had ties to Finland have openly stated that they no longer want to be associated with the country. He has also made it clear that he no longer wants to support Finnish products by purchasing them, something he once enjoyed. At this point, the situation is already disastrous from the perspective of effective cultural exchange. So what happens when these allegations go beyond personal opinion and are shared more broadly in political relationships and small business deals? Finland needs to understand that this is an extremely serious issue that could have significant ripple effects into the future. To truly rectify the situation, the only way is for the nation to publicly apologize to the people of East Asia and firmly address the insulting behavior of its parliamentarians. It's not too late, but I wonder if the government and the New Faces Party have the understanding and leadership to take the necessary steps . So, I think this is a case of a "no-brainer" argument. Currently, Finns is the ruling party , so unless Finland takes action, there will be major repercussions in the future . And that's what the last part is saying: it's not too late, but I wonder if the government and the New Faces Party can take appropriate action . So, these are the questions that are being raised. So, is this really possible ? Well, to begin with, the fact is that people who are capable of doing such a thing wouldn't do it. Finnish MP Elora wants to apologize to Asian people. UF Elora, the member of parliament who published the photo of her eye-rolling, has apologized to Asian people. This is the person. I want to apologize to all Asian people. This photo was not intended to elevate them in any way; it was primarily intended to express my opinion on the Miss Finland organization's response. Elora is the chairman of the Parliament's Legal Affairs Committee and a former deputy speaker. And here it is: Elora has stated that he hasn't made much of his decision to publish the photo . He wanted to instruct Miss Finland's Sarajavce, who lost her crown, and that he believes the Miss Finland organization's response in this matter was inappropriate . While he apologized formally, he doesn't regret it. And, what's more, Elora said, "If I had done it differently, you wouldn't be interviewing me on TV right now ." Amazing, isn't it? This is the person. In the end, this has caused such a fuss, and you're justifying your actions by saying that you came to interview me . And the icing on the cake is this. Anders Adlerkreuz, the Swedish Liberal Democrats' pitcher and head of the Ministry of Education , today gave a speech about the Finnish islanders. I stated that posting the stretched photos could damage Finland's image and hinder Finnish companies' expansion into Asian markets. In response, Ero said he doesn't believe my posting of the photos on Facebook will have any negative impact on Finnish exports . So, what do you think? As Left pointed out earlier, does the government and Finches Island have the understanding to take the necessary measures ? Well, in short, they don't. So, what's the current situation in the Finnish Parliament? This is also from Helsinki . The National Coalition Party's parliamentary party's behavior is like a kindergarten. The National Coalition Party is Finland's current ruling party. It's in a coalition with the People's Party to form the ruling coalition. So , the National Coalition Party is the main player in this coalition. So, for now, it says that party members are criticizing the People's Party's behavior. Green Alliance member of parliament Fatim Diala is in the opposition. Green Alliance MP Fatem Diara is calling on National Coalition Party member Petteri Orposi to take responsibility for the issue of images of the island being perceived as racist . Green Alliance MP Fatem Diara is calling on National Coalition Party member Petteri Orposi to take responsibility for the issue of images of the Finnish island being perceived as racist . In his letter, Diara points out that the government declared zero tolerance for racism last fall. I've studied this concept a little before, but it means dealing with and sanctioning discrimination without any exceptions. So, what he's saying is that the government declared last year that it would make no exceptions for discrimination. " Prime Minister, where is this zero tolerance now ? Where are the sanctions you promised to impose on MPs who perpetuate racism through their actions or words last September?" Diara asks in his letter. So, here, on Japanese Wikipedia, it says that the Prime Minister of Finland is this person, Petteri Olpo, 47th Prime Minister, who is the current Prime Minister of the National Coalition Party. The Finnish Parliament is currently pressuring this Prime Minister to address the Finns' discrimination . And so, this is the Prime Minister's position. Mayor Olpo told the Helsinki Shimbun newspaper on Friday that he would not comment because, according to ruling party rules, this issue must be handled among the parliamentary groups of each party . Such a meeting is scheduled for Tuesday. He said he refrained from commenting because of various procedures . I think this could be interpreted as an excuse , but this is the Prime Minister's current stance. Well, I'll just say one thing here: this is not something to be taken lightly. However, there will be a meeting next Tuesday, and a proper disciplinary action will be announced. Well, if we're being honest about this, you'd think we could trust them based on the leadership they mentioned earlier, but they're actually being quite vague. Sakai 's Atomi and Koskela also commented on the controversy on Instagram. According to Koskela, the Finns are using this series of actions to divert public attention from government policies that cut back on low-income earners. Koskela also acknowledged that Olposi's refusal to comment on the issue constitutes an attempt to shirk responsibility . However, the Finns' racism is no longer surprising. Well, I've corrected myself, but the Finns have been repeating this kind of behavior, and they're good at it. Criticism of this behavior has come from the ruling National Coalition, saying it's business as usual. The fact that some members of parliament are behaving like kindergarteners is a symbol of the times. The Miss Finland contest. And why is it even being held in the first place? National Coalition Party member of parliament Hennos wrote on social media on Friday that the contest and its organization's decisions should be properly criticized without ridicule . So, this is the headline I mentioned earlier. Well, this is what they're saying, but Bornos has indicated that he doesn't believe there's any need to punish Elora individually . Belora has expressed regret for her actions, and Bornos told Hell Shinki Shimbun that she believes the matter has been resolved. As a newcomer to this controversy, she's currently garnering a lot of attention on Japanese social media . Here, there's a person named Meri, a member of the National Coalition Party . What's her perspective? Elongating the corners of your eyes isn't racism . It's a malicious and immature act. There's a big difference between the two. This person, also here, posted this photo and criticized it . However, they believe it's a prank, not racism . And here, what makes this racism controversy completely absurd is that we Finns don't hate East Asians . We love sushi, and we appreciate the Japanese people's strong work ethic . Furthermore, Chinese tourists bring millions of euros into the Finnish economy every year . So, you see, Finland-loving East Asians . It's a bit of a strange logic to say this isn't discrimination because we like sushi, but that's what Finland 's current ruling party members of parliament say. So, so, based on what we've seen so far, it seems like the current Finnish government has no say. I don't know how they'll address this issue, but looking at what's been said so far, I don't think we can expect much. On the other hand, there's a movement called "Dacism in Finland," which focuses on racism in Finland, and it 's very interesting. According to a 2024 survey by the Finnish Business Forum , while the majority of Finns believe racism is unacceptable , there is a significant gap in opinion regarding the severity of the problem in Finnish society . Approximately 40% of the population considers racism to be a major problem, while 55% consider it a minor one. This view is strongly polarized by party . The majority of supporters of left-wing parties view racism as a serious problem. Meanwhile, only 5% of Finnish supporters and only 23% of National Coalition Party supporters agree. As I mentioned in yesterday's video, especially with regard to the Finnish Party, not only politicians but also the people who support it, it's already clear that awareness of racism is extremely low. That's the point. And this is the largest ruling party. Even with the National Coalition Party, the numbers are still quite low, so this is the current state of Finland's ruling party . This blog, which you can see here, also recently added information about the Miss Finland controversy. Let's take a look at the online reaction. Many Westerners would rather burn the world down than let Asia overtake them. It's a wicked sword. This person is Japanese . This is a pattern that I'd like to use as an example in a social statistics textbook: in reality, it's racism, but the other party doesn't recognize it as racism, so the survey numbers show there is no racism . To be honest, this pattern is common in many political movements, and it's a dark place, so this is what's being quoted here, but Finland is ranked 4th in the ranking of countries with the least racism, which is quite high . In 1st place is Denmark, New Zealand, the Netherlands, and Finland , but this is as the person mentioned earlier said. It was also written in the article. They're simply not aware of it in the first place. Do you understand, everyone? Especially with regards to the racist party, you can probably figure it out by now, right? This leader said that only 5% of people recognize that racism exists in Finland . That's why. So, if you see a ranking of countries with the least racism in the future, it'll be the opposite. This ranking shows a low level of awareness . I think this incident really brought this to light . The fact that in Western society, Japanese people are essentially equated with cannibalism and are subject to discrimination, and in many cases, are classified as being in a lower status category than black people, should be more widely known . There are many white and black people who think they can do anything to cannibals. Well, I think anyone living abroad is already familiar with this . It's not about traveling. It's about living. It's completely different. The way you present yourself is completely different depending on whether you're a customer at a tourist spot or if you live there. So I think your perception will be quite different depending on whether you've had that experience or not. For example, even in America, store clerks are now very blatantly showing their disgust. For example, if you go to a restaurant and order a fried egg, all you get is a wide egg. The police also harass you , and if you're driving, you'll get a ticket. Chinese people in America are especially wealthy, so some say they're jealous, but basically, people there can't tell the difference between Japanese and Chinese, so they'll give you tickets for even more unbelievable violations . So, if you've lived there, I think that's true . Even if you think about it objectively, I think it's incredibly embarrassing that photos like this of former Miss Finland and politicians are being circulated around the world . Especially for Miss Finland, this photo will definitely be used in her future photos, so digital tattoos are scary. Are Japanese people beginning to realize the true nature of Western values and ideals ? The empire and its minions are all revealing their true colors. This man will rise to prominence in the white, market-driven AB-US empire. Despite being the Finnish ambassador to China and Japan, he is unable to even recognize that this is a pose of anti-Asian discrimination, and yet he is arrogantly expressing anti-Asian sentiment toward Japanese people . This is a very high level of anti-Asian sentiment. Finnish education produces people like this. Who on earth said that Finland's education system is the best in the world? I've never been to Finland, but this was my introduction to the country. I'm deeply shocked to learn that Finland is home to so many American-style racists. What a shameless country . It seems like this has triggered a realization for everyone . Yes. So, today, we're looking at the current controversy: the bait-and-switch tactics used by Finnish politicians. We've looked at how this is currently being discussed in parliament. What did you think? I expect some kind of opinion will emerge in the future, and I'll keep you updated as it emerges . With the current National Coalition Party and the Finnish Party, it seems like they can't come to a resolution. There's nothing we can do about the Democratic Party in particular, so I feel like we can't expect much from them, including their leaders. So, what I think is good about this hopeless turn of events is the so-called "whatever" ranking we talked about earlier. There are things that seem to elevate certain countries, right ? Those are essentially rankings of countries that aren't even aware of their own self-awareness. So, in a way, it's good that this has been made public . I think many people have become aware of it through this incident. It's not that there isn't discrimination. They're just unaware of it. I'd love to hear your opinions on this . So, that's all for today's main segment , but as a final aside, before we get to this topic, I actually had been thinking about making this video, and it was about Finland. So, today's video is a bit long, but if you have time, please take a look. This concludes the main segment. Well, to be honest, after this whole slant-eyes thing, I honestly don't think anyone will be interested in watching it, so I don't think this topic will be a part of a video . However, I 've been doing a lot of research and gathering information, so let me just say a few words at the end. As I mentioned earlier, this is the Finnish Embassy in China-Japan, which was criticized. It says here that it appreciates the support of everyone in Japan, but actually , I posted this on Nepta X with the intention of making a video, and I 've been doing some research. Azuma Jansson, the creator of Moomin, made a long-awaited trip to Japan with her partner in 1971, and in Tokyo, she gave a speech in Japanese in front of a large collection of Japanese characters. She released audio of her repeated pronunciation practice sessions and footage her partner shot on 8mm film . This is Tove Jansson, the creator of Moomin. She's a Finnish author, and the audio of her speech in Japanese during her recent visit to Japan has been released. Azuma, there must have been a lot going on with the Moomin controversy. Do you all know Moomin? Well, in Japan, it's well known for its anime. Originally , the original author, Tobei Anson, wasn't happy with the content at all, so the Japanese side apparently had to go to great lengths to adapt it to Japanese audiences. I didn't even know that it had turned out that way, and it was actually broadcast , but when Tobei Anson heard about it, he said, "This isn't Moomin." Since then, the first Moomin episode, the "NeMoomin" episode, can no longer be rebroadcast , so you can't see it anymore. Well, there are rumors that it's legally OK, but in reality, there was a commotion about it being self-restrained. Meanwhile, Tobei Anson came to Japan , studied Japanese desperately, and repeatedly emphasized his pronunciation, expressing how much he respects Japanese culture . It's a very moving story. There were a lot of swords about this, and people were saying that Tobu Anson hated Japan, but that wasn't the case . This document shows that she was really looking forward to coming to Japan . Tobu is said to be a lesbian, but is bisexual more accurate? She had a female partner , and this woman, who is also an artist, filmed her at the time. The 8mm film she shot at the time was released at the same time, and it evoked a sense of nostalgia for Japanese people . I was planning to make this video, but this is what happened. I think almost everyone knows that not all Finns are racist , but still , with the ruling party in the state it really does paint a bad image for Finland and the Finnish people. So in that sense, I hope they take some kind of strong stance, like appointing a general. Currently, this topic has hardly been getting any attention, so there have been almost no replies, but now, well, it has become like this, and as you can see below , well, we would like to continue to pay attention to the government's response. Life passes very quickly, and great dreams are never realized. Just once, Japan I wanted to experience the feeling of falling into a dream world. And now I am in that dream country of Japan. I have been a fan of Japanese literature for a long time and have a strong understanding of it. The Japanese sense of color is more vivid and active than the Finnish sense of color. If you expand your horizons, it is true that we live very far apart. But I think that even in the world of young people, we can understand each other without difficulty in any book. Thank you very much. I'm Snow White, that's strange. That's strange. What's that? My funnel flying, that's strange. That's strange. The words that I drew and wrote about my weapon.
