The late Bobby Hull was timed at 116 mph with a straight blade wooden stick. How do you think Al McInnis, Al Iafrade, and other legendary 100+ MPH shooters would do with these modern sticks?? It is a frightening thought.

You got to remember Shea and Z were huge. Plus players are putting more emphasis on the wrist shot. Even youth players in certain areas can't even do a slapshot they're 12 years old.

just terrible. interviewing over the event. i get it, but the delayed results, and nothing displayed on the TV, no instant pop from the crowd. usually anything over 100 gets a pop.

It was nice to see Dahlin come in 2nd, but I will say this if Tage Thompson hadn't got injured. He would've won this Competition hands down with his 105 mph Slapshot. !!!
Ovechkin always underperforms in this competition but I swear he shoots way harder in game.
