Then Gojo became this insanely cracked being that stands above the jujutsu world, acquired Buddha level power and felt on such a high that he thought he was some honored one type shit, didn’t even feel the loss of Riko anymore….
…And all of that god like power amounted to jack fucking shit when it came to stopping his best friend from leaving.
In fact, him being sent on missions alone left Geto alone with his dark thoughts and drove a wedge between them, to the point where Gojo couldn’t even reach him anymore.
Unlike Sukuna who revels in strength, Gojo immediately got the mother of all cold showers after his high and realized that when it counts, his strength is not only worthless, it is actively detrimental.
It’s also why they treat Jogo so differently: Sukuna respects Jogo’s pride even when shattered and his relationship to power. Gojo, who thinks power, in the end, is meaningless finds Jogo’s obsession with it to be laughable and so he mocks him for it and taunts him for sucking at the stupid thing he cares so much about.
