Best season 2 episode so far and probably one of the most heartfelt ones of all time. I am loving the dynamic between Thorfinn and Einar.
That was the woman that Thorfinn met in episode 6 of season 1 i believe
Thorfinn's nightmare is a mixture of both his mission to get the captain's head in season 1 episode 7 and the moment when the English woman took him in and hid him from the English soldiers in season 1 episode 6. The way the nightmare plays out it essentially indicates that he feels that he's responsible for her demise and for many other innocent people's deaths.
Episodes like this, the one where Askeladd slaughters the village in S1, where Canute questions God & faith and finale of S1 is why I consider Vinland Saga a masterpiece… Wow

I like that Einar talked some sense into Thorfinn. For Einar to lose everything, yet still see the light at the end of the tunnel, and although Thorfinn has been through a lot, for him wanting to say nothing good has ever happened in his life, but he still has his mother, sister, and even Lief looking for him. Also good on Einar for teaching him good manners lol.
Thorfinn Autopilot Kick is legendary
because this man hasn’t fought or
even sparred in YEARS and he just
pulls out the Wheat Hurricane
Taijutsu on instinct.
