Wind Breaker Season 3: The first two seasons of Wind Breaker adapted only 11 out of 23 manga volumes published by September 2025, and during the second season, the anime performed exceptionally well in Japan, frequently appearing in the Top 10 on streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, U-Next, and Hulu.

While it did not rank highly on Crunchyroll in the West or the Middle East, the Japanese market showed strong engagement, and manga sales jumped from 2 million to 6.5 million copies after the anime premiere. Additionally, the online game WIND BREAKER: Heroic Tale of Delinquents released in March 2025 surpassed 400,000 pre-registrations, further proving the franchise’s popularity.

With so much source material remaining and strong commercial performance in Japan, a third season is practically guaranteed. Considering the typical production schedule in Japan and the longer gap after initial seasons, Wind Breaker Season 3 is likely to premiere in the second half of 2027.
