I love this series.
The art is really pretty and the characters are very endearing. It is kind of like what the GL version of what a blend between Sasaki and Miyano & Given could be. It is very sweet but also a little sad.

There is an anime adaptation that brings the music to life so definitely check that out as well. Personally I watched the anime before i started the manga as i like to do where possible when it comes to music series so i have a feel for the music but another option would be to listen to the music along with your reading you can easily find what songs go with which performances.
