  1. coming from the 15 pro max, i’m a big hiker/camper and i love taking photos when im out. ordered the 17 pro max in orange so i never lose it if somehow drops on the ground outdoors lol. also might try to start clipping cool moments and make short videos

  6. I have ordered it, waiting on the restock now. Reason is I can run my entire business on it while I’m not in office, saves me having to take my dslr camera on shorter trips as well, and as someone who only upgrades when absolutely necessary this will last me a good few years with 1tb memory

  11. I’m upgrading my 12 MINI to 17 Pro. Battery life will be MASSIVE upgrade. And ever since I moved to a warmer climate my MINI tends to overheat…. So hoping the vapor cooler might help.

    Not looking forward to not being able to thumb the entire screen one handed anymore.

  13. I'm going from the 14 Pro to the standard iPhone 17. I am not a gamer or a pro video maker. Now the 17 has promotion it will do all I need. Thanks Mark for your advice which is the best imo.

  14. I have the iPhone 14 Pro Max, and it is still working well. With the upgrade, I have noticed that it has some lag. I also noticed that charging it gets hot, and battery life has gone down somewhat. I am still contemplating the purchase.

  16. While the cable that comes with new iphone is sturdy and nice, it has very low throughput, if you use the usbc connection to say download your photo to your Ipad or computet it is painfully slow. The moment i replace it with a thicker usbc cable that came with my canon camera, the photos are flying off the iphone onto wherever i download them. Sane with charging iphone or anything else with this cable, it is adequate but if i again change nothing else in the equation but the cable to the cable that came wirh my camera, it is significantly faster. I also tried to use the iphone cable that came with it to connect other cameras to my computer – just as slow, replace with thicker usvc camera that came with my cable- photos are flying off cameras in seconds.

  22. I'm not a apple person I hate Apple products but I need it for work to run my LLCs on and this my first Apple phone and I went all the way with the 17 pro max… 😮

  23. LiDAR is what will always keep me on the Pro series. I use polycam every single day and LiDAR makes everything super precise and easy for interior design backup measurements. Hate the colours this year. Where the hell is my black version…

  24. I’m waiting for my deep blue iPhone 17 pro max in 2 weeks cos of my phone carrier and reason I got deep blue is most people are going to put cover on their orange iPhone in years to come ne defeat purpose of owning orange iPhone

  31. I upgraded from the iPhone 12 Pro simply because I was tired of charging it 3x’s a day… the 17 pro max is an astronomical jump up. I love it. The BATTERY, screen, cameras, speakers, all of it.

No you don't have to go for the orange one… if the duo tone looked like on the packaging, then yeah… but the contrast between the colors is so jarring on the real product, unless it's a camera effect on every YT channels, then nope, no thanks. The blue seems more sensible in that area, and it's a minor crime for Apple to not have a black option this year. Not that I care all that much, my 11 is still serviceable, just barely, even after a battery & earlier this year screen replacement. Gone are the days where I felt I needed to upgrade every other years.

  36. I am debating which one to get IPhone 17 pro max or the iPhone 17 Air. I will be upgrading from a iPhone 8 Plus that is still in great shape. The battery capacity is at 75%. As I do keep my phone for a long time, I will look a little deeper into what people are saying in the coming months. I must say on your video about the iPhone 17 Air, I am wondering if I should just wait for 2026. Thanks. Great information.

  41. The reason why I chose the iPhone 17 ProMax 512GB is that my iPhone 11 ProMax 256GB needed an upgrade. Nothing wrong with it, – can still take the iOS 26, but that will be the last upgrade it gets. I really needed a better camera cluster. The 11 version had 12 MP an only 0,5x, 1x and 2x cameras. Not enough. Even though I have multiple digital cameras with a lot of lenses, this is the one that always will be available, therefore it needs to be good enough. Big hopes for this one.

  43. i went for the muted deep blue. it’s a better looking phone in person. the cosmic orange….as nice as it is….it’s too loud. i wish there was a black, but it’s okay. maybe next year.

  45. Great video Mark! I wasn’t a fan of the orange when I first saw it but I have to admit, it’s grown on me… still not sure if I can be bothered upgrading from my 13 pro though…

  47. Nothing has changed since every year they come up with a new iPhone. I have the 16 pro max and it does the job. Maybe in two years i will upgrade if they make the screen rotate on the home screen and takeoff the island like that you could have a full screen

  48. I have the 16 pro and now I'm super happy with ios26.. it is just amazing. I,m a little bit sad about losing the 5x telephoto lens, it is what I enjoy the most while shooting. My main issue is the battery life through the day, I need to recharge it by 6 or 7pm everyday. Probably I'm skipping the 17 series and will upgrade to the 18 series. I'll see whats what's.

  49. Got an orange 1tb pro max was gonna get a 2tb but 2k is just not worth it plus i have a 1tb now and its half full and i download everything games, songs, audiobooks and so on.😊
