I never understood why Lucy didn't live in the Fairy Tail girl's dorm with Erza and Wendy. I know she said it was because the rent is expensive, but she makes the same amount of money as Erza and Wendy considering they are on the same team and go on the same missions. If Erza and Wendy can afford to live in the dorm Lucy should be able to.
