God, I can't believe they actually made a season 2 of this… absolute bullshit show. Both of the main character’s love interests end up with other people. The red-haired girl keeps encouraging him, clearly knows he has feelings for her, but still marries the blond guy. Meanwhile, the short blond one was actually his brother’s girl all along, and they both work together to completely screw the MC over. His father is the biggest piece of shit imaginable, trying to use him to enslave his brother, while his mother actually does love him—but of course, she dies anyway. All the while, the MC just keeps killing dragon god after dragon god, gives everything up to his brother, and ends up saving the world for absolutely no reason. It's the ultimate story of a hero who gets shit on by everyone and still sacrifices everything.
