Morning [Music] folks. Phil here from Telford Koi Pond on a fairly bright Sunday morning, but uh nothing too special to talk about. Um but what I do want to talk about that is special is an event that’s happening on Saturday the August the 16th and it’s the Koi Heaven Mud Pond Harvest Event. Now, I couldn’t go to the last one. and I was absolutely gutted because of uh family commitments, but this one’s coming up, as I say, Saturday, August the 16th, starting at 10:00. It is a ticketed affair, so make sure you go and get your tickets off the Koi Heaven um website. But basically, this year is going to be extra special because they’ve managed to purchase a load of Shintaro selected koi directly from the mud ponds at Shintaro Koi Farm in Japan. And all those are going to be harvested and for sale on the day. So you could end up with an absolutely cracking fish. They’ve got a bit of a a coup because Maruro Sat from Shintaro Koi Farm is coming over to help with the uh with the harvest. And there’s also another koi celebrity. Uh Tim Wington will be there. I’m sure you all know who Tim Modington is. Very wellrespected member of the koi community. But as I say, it’s a it’s a harvest event. There’s going to be lots of other things happening, but primarily it’s harvesting koi and lots and lots of koi for sale out of the um harvested mud pond, plus loads of that inside and outside the shop or the koi as well. There’s lots and lots of uh things for everybody to do. Um if you if you buy the ticket with a hog roast, then obviously you get a hog roast as well. Happy days. Um there’s bouncy castles for the kids. There’s um animals and things for the for the kids to to pet. And I think there’s entertainment being put on for the children so they can sort of uh be entertained while um you know we go and have a look at the fish basically and and uh ogle and what uh what we’d like in our ponds. But I’ll put what I’m going to do I’ll quickly show you my fish just to show you the little one from yesterday. Um and then I’ll put all the details on the screen. So, just make sure you keep watching, watch all the details and as I say, if you want a ticket um get in touch with um Koi Heaven through their website and you can buy the tickets online. So, I’ll just pop and have a look at my fish. Sorry. And then, uh I’ll give you the details. So, there you go. Just very quickly, um there’s my little babies. None of them from Shintaro Koi Farm. So, I think there’s a there’s a gap in the in the pond there. Um all doing particularly well. The little one from yesterday seems to have taken a liking. I don’t even know whether you’ll see him. Uh to hiding where the outlet comes so the inlet comes in there. That’s one of the top feeds from the uh from the filters. He’s taken to hiding up there. Heat. Heat. [Music]

Koi Heaven Mud Pond Harvest Event – Saturday, August 16th – 10:00 AM Arrival.
It’s time once again for the much-anticipated KOI HEAVEN main mud pond harvest, alongside customers harvesting from their own ponds!
KOI HEAVEN are honoured to welcome Mararu Saito from Shintaro Koi Farm to this year’s event and also Joining in will be Tim Waddington, a respected name in the koi world.
All of the Shintaro koi raised in the KOI HEAVEN mud pond will be available for purchase on the day as well as a wide selection of koi in vats – both outside and inside the shop – with something for every taste and budget.
