Everyone! The saja boys is not the devil, he is the Jeoseungsaja!
for a long time, Korea believed that there was a existence called 저승사자(Jeoseungsaja). saja boys are these 저승사자 (I don't know why they are villains, but…)
The "저승" means "afterlife," and the "사자" means "guide." Jeoseungsaja are literally guides that guide the dead human soul to the afterlife. When human death approaches, these Jeoseungsaja come to visit.
They are known for their pale skin, black lips, and non-human eyes, wearing black hanbok and gats (traditional Korean hats worn on their heads), and being extremely tall.
The 저승사자 (Grim Reaper?) has incredibly good looks to take humans to the afterlife (mostly men, but there are female 저승사자, too.) But if humans do not follow through, they transform into their favorite human (parents, children, celebrities, lovers) to take them. I was surprised to see them described really well..😊
But in Korea, the 저승사자 (Jeoseungsaja/Grim Reaper) is not a devil ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㄱㅋ I guess the 저승사자 looked like a devil to them….ㅠㅜ
