[Music] good morning guys guess who is back my husband is back and you know what that means that means we are continuing the renovation that we left off a couple of episodes ago actually three episodes ago i’ve been uh sort of showing you a little bit around the Brisbane area that’s close by but uh now we’re doing some renos and I’ll give you over to the man himself uh please hold i’ll come around cuz that is terrible lighting please help guys that’s better welcome back thank you i’m pleased to be back cuz I can actually get to my tools really easy now you may have to talk a little bit louder because we’ve have the traffic apologies uh we can’t do much about it we’ll try to mics later you spent the last 10 days actually triing this position and this configuration and doesn’t work for you so now I’m going to have to move this all forwards and paddle it and make it look pretty guys I don’t mean to be difficult but I hated it i love the drawers don’t get me wrong did a fantastic job did exactly the way I asked but I don’t like the U shape i think I mentioned that in a video a couple videos ago so we’re going to fix that all up again and go back to the original configuration yeah sorry continue yes we’re going to go back to the original bed configuration but to move to move this fridge I’ve got to take all this off again and move it forward hopefully we can mount the lagoon table back in its original position i want the table back so I’ve been away for 10 days and she didn’t have any tables so she’s had to struggle i’ve had to sit in the middle there and edit and it’s been okay but you know it is what it is let’s get started eh first world problems eh so as you can see we brought this here hello Pablo sit down as you can see we brought this forward now to be flush with these cupboards here and we’ll get into those side ones by putting a liftable lid so we can get into storage on the side because you cannot waste any space here so Tim told me he’s going to put um a little door at the back with a vent for the fridge uh covered in carpet and also I’ve got some a surprise coming and that is going to go in here but not going to tell you about that just yet um it’s going to fit at the back so look forward to that first challenge of today try and attach a table you’ve lost your touch you’ve been away for so long just trying to fit this bracket that’s all it doesn’t want to go in oh look it does it It’ll be fine as as long as I get Obviously this isn’t made for these holes to line up so I’ve got to get them in that hole there and then drill another hole there and then get a bolt through it that’s That’s the That’s my big issue i don’t want to say that emptying a drawer and taking it out was my idea but my idea only took 30 minutes it did not take 30 minutes for him to uh now empty the drawer take the stuff out although don’t you hate one of those people that sit here and go “You missed a spot you missed a spot that’s me.” I’m pleased we have now reinstated we’ve got the day bed back yeah still put I still got to make the lids for those sides but like Yeah we’ve still got to have tops of these cuz I kept falling down these holes dramas uh but yeah we’ve now got the day but look how nice that looks now he’s just put a bit of board on top of the now pulled forward fridge and uh yeah it is going to be awesome i don’t know about putting tops on these i don’t think it’s I don’t think we need tops on the on the backs a bit of You know what we should do here’s a good idea a little bit of material just to finish it off with on Velcro so it can just be quickly lifted off maybe maybe what do you reckon yeah I’ve got many other jobs to do yeah all right well you got a table back i got a table guys you got no idea yeah that looks pretty smooth excuse the dog hairs yeah Pablo’s been up there he was testing it out but uh it looks nice babe good job we’re getting there we’re getting there slowly but we’re getting there guys you got no idea like I didn’t think I used that table it was taken away from me now we took it out cuz I didn’t think I you I would use it and I just I realized how much I actually do put a cup of tea on it put a laptop on it get things out of the way of Pablo he goes underneath it when I’m trying to do work or something like that it was really handy what are you doing i’m just really pleased with how it looks at the end here with the fridge yeah it looks it looks schmick sorry about the traffic noise guys we’re doing our best it’s just a busy road all right now we have these bits finished ignore this bit that’s just there temporarily like a little liftups and that’s where Pablo’s backpack actually lives in there and this one I think our scales do and now I’m sure we’ll find things that are that thin to go in there that looks very neat but I think it’s time to actually make this back into the bed that it once was yes what do you think let’s restore it to its former glory [Music] please somebody likes it you happy it’s back now babe oh no more holes to fall in he’s constantly fallen down holes before won’t you buddy it’s nice don’t worry about the bump in the middle we are actually going to get cushions to cut to fit so guys it’s so nice having this back as a as a day bed again i I miss it so much when I was I was on my own i didn’t realize how much you get used to a certain setup and then you take it away it’s like oh now what now what do I do but anyway uh I think that’s all we’ve got time for today i’ve got to feed Paulo taking him for a walk and all that stuff so we will get back to you tomorrow morning with some other exciting things i think we’re wiring in this freezer uh and also finishing the front area and listing the car yes we’re selling the smart car see you tomorrow [Music] good morning everyone as you can see the little car needs a little bit of attention we’ll be doing that today but I’ve got to go out for a little while um but I will leave you with Tim i’m not sure what he’s up to what are you up to i will be Oh I can’t see this into a area oh I can see you now it’s all right yeah i’m going to be trying to turn this little area this marked pile of mess that’s temporarily a mess at the moment into an actual workable area this morning and hopefully um maybe I’ll get a maybe I’ll get a desk maybe you’ll get a desk and maybe instead of a toilet a toilet that’s not out but in cool guys i’ll leave you with Tim see you soon obviously we’ve just told you what we’re actually going to be doing but yes I’m definitely going to sort this out cuz this is actually a complete mess at the moment um we’ve got some almost finished at the back there it’s just a little bit paneling to do um once I’ I won’t do that now i’m going to get on with this because this needs to be turned into a functional workspace for Sandy now because while she was away she really needed her table so I’m going to get this lagoon table fitted somehow i’m not sure and I’ve got to raise the box by about that much to clear the bolts for the seat underneath because I didn’t allow for that when I did the uh slide in for the toilet so I don’t want to scratch the top of the toilet so and it’s just become a dumping ground so I’m going to get rid of all the stuff in here and uh get started again make it look pretty so that’s looking a lot clearer now all right so next job is to find a way of fitting this bracket to that panel so I’m just going to scratch my head for a little bit and see if I can actually figure this out because we really need to fit it there a few minutes later so I think I figured this out for this uh lagoon table i’ve taken the plastic trim off this plastic trim off of here and unbolted the seat belt and I can actually get down in behind all this here so I’m thinking of mounting the bracket this is just the the spacer block but I’m thinking of mounting the bracket there and then just cutting a hole out of the actual piece of trim and then that should look good there let’s see if we can actually get that to work now that’s fixed in nice and tight i’ve got just enough room to get my arm in that hole there to reach down and do the back of the nuts and bolts and get a spanner in there so that was a little bit of a mission my fat old arm just fit so um I think that’s going to work just got to do some adjustments now and uh make it look pretty now I’ve got the chair and the table in that’s looking good i’ve just got that cooker box down there cuz that’s sort of like the right height for the height of the box that’s going to go in the bottom that’s going to be a little storage area with a flip up lid and yeah I just need Sandy to come back so I can measure her legs and make sure that works for her not just for me because my legs are longer than hers so there we are the the actual person that needs to be it needs to be fitted for i am here uh yes I look I think a little bit higher on the floor i don’t know i think it’s comfortable um I’d love the table to be bigger and to come because I you know when I work or edited I slouch a little bit and I’m like I’m more like here yeah I could probably get you a bigger tabletop yeah maybe well big too big then oh see this swivels get in still yeah it’s quite handy but see I I’ I’d sit like that honestly and it’s it’s a little bit too up and in but yeah apart from that looks good my little fake little box here at the bottom the cooker box at the moment but that will be a box later on and hopefully later on you’ll see all this panled in as well so yeah see that’s a little bit higher right this is going to hit my leg there so probably does need a little bit anyway just a teeny bit yeah yeah perfect perfect guys I can’t wait i can actually edit properly and I have a silk bag all right how’s it going down here i don’t know what’s been up to you because I’ve been up there editing so well I’ve managed to cut the panel out for that and that goes back in there i’ve fitted a switch for these USBs so they can be turned off oh cool um and I’m just working on the box now oh cool so those are really good guys if you’ve got who who has found USB plugs with no lights because everything we get has a blue shining light on it you can see that uh yeah see the see the lights guys and what happens at night guys those lights light up this front area like you wouldn’t believe like I actually thought it was sunrise the other day so I actually put uh black dots on it but the problem with the black dots is they can’t be used because you have to pull the stickers off all the time so I have a husband who can put in a switch for me but who has found the ones with no lights cuz we can’t find them so it’s good to come up with a solution yeah so having them switchable also saves power in a very very minute way yeah you’re not lighting them LEDs are you so I don’t know i know they don’t use much but it’s always a little the little things parasitic drain yeah little things make a difference guys remember though all right I’ll let you get back to it what are you doing now finishing the box off hopefully and I’ll be able to show you guys a box please hold well that looks pretty good you sat down i was trying to don’t work with animals or children thank you uh yeah that looks pretty good i think we’re going to put like a little um latch sort of type thing on the top here just to finish that off this is going to be covered with floor tiles but we’re changing our floor yeah we’re over the brown floor we probably haven’t mentioned it before but we’re over the brown floor our palette is really uh gray black white orange that’s pretty much it so and maybe a little bit of green here and there uh so we’re going to change the floors to like a beachy white black sort of thing so let’s get to Bunnings and get our flooring come on guys you’re coming with me they are heavier than I thought they were they are so heavy i can’t believe it they got to be like 20 kilos each well probably 10 probably 10 okay I have returned from Bunnings as you can see and we’ve just got the flooring out to see what it looks like is it going to be too bright i think it looks pretty good at the moment we have this brown flooring which we thought would hide some dirt and all that sort of stuff but it’s just dark and horrible but look at this one look at these i think they’re going to look really cool don’t you we will have a brown a brown mat on top of it because But it’s just going to make the floor pop even more you know go with the rest of the Yeah it goes with the rest of the orange and the brown it’s already pretty dirty but it’s I think the thing about this one guys yeah um as Tim said it’s white but it’s already pre- dirtied so it’s not going to show it’s not going to show i think that’s What do you reckon yeah I like it i reckon that’s going to open this place up hu a huge amount well we’ve got to fix the floor anyway cuz where we took everything out is all ripped up and left nothing yeah we had to fix it anyway so we might as well change it have a change e why not except I didn’t realize i picked these up at Buddies i was just like “Oh my god they’re about 20 kilos each.” Not 20 20 k a pack a pack’s probably about 10 kilos yeah 10 yeah they’re so heavy anyway I love those they’re cool oh look at Pablo in his new section in action like it Pablo he’s got a new impressed buddy i’m so happy that they Sorry let get this camera thing out of the way that these bowls are out of the way now that was a pain so guys this is the rest of the van uh looks great what an area do you like that fella and uh I think that’s success for today so now that we’ve cleaned up we have one more thing to do today we’ve had such a busy day guys we didn’t film too much of it cuz it’s just like gung-ho trying to get this thing done uh the our little car boot now we bought little boot sorry the little smart car we bought uh the smart car to maybe tow behind this or have here at mom’s for little runarounds when we come when I come home to visit mom the problem with that is it costs a lot of money to keep a car not but we do have here is free but we do have registration insurance maintenance i wouldn’t say petrol no it runs on similar petrol but guys we did some calculations and the times I come home it’s actually cheaper for me to hire a car to hire a car or use mom’s car for that so we’re going to have to take it down and give her a good old wash so we’re going to list it tomorrow so let’s head out go around here where are you i’ve got traffic coming up the inside of me i’ll just go up here i think this is the right anyway this won’t take long let’s get this beast washed if you’ve made it this far thank you so so much for watching please subscribe if you haven’t already and as always a huge thank you to all our members we do appreciate all of you we will see you next time

Thanks guys really enjoyed that video the Reno’s are looking great love the floor colour too.
Just what your channel really needs, more interpretive dance.. YES. 😂😅😊😊😊
welcome back Tim, the mods look great, love the new look and probably more functional too. I put Velcro over all the blue lights in my van including my portable fan as they are so bright at night and I like the dark for sleeping as we currently live on a 5-acre bush block which is very dark at night. Good luck with selling the little beast, cheers
I love Hippo car wash its the best. The new floor covering will certainly open the van up. Things are looking good guys. Cheers Judy
