  1. 15:51 Jack Webb in an early movie role. He is best known for playing Joe Friday in the long-running TV "Dragnet" show. When he died the LA Police Department buried him will full honors and with a replica police badge with the number 714 – the number he wore in the "Dragnet" series.

  2. Just want to point out that at the big confrontation at the end, but police never once identify themselves, or call on him to surrender.

  3. This is most definitely where Jack Webb got all of his inspiration for Dragnet. All the way down to their police car designation number 80-K! Cool to see him just 1year before he created Dragnet.
