  3. yeah probably not the best weather for sight seeing in that area, you will have to go back and try some skiing. Dinner looks amazing, whats for desert? cheers

  4. Thredbo is absolutely beautiful, summer and winter, so pretty in winter with snow and beautiful alpine flowers in the summer. If you take the chairlift to top station there is a lovely walk to the top of Mt. Kosciuszko. By driving to Bredbo you have missed Charlotte Pass, Perisher Valley, Kiandra, Khancoban and Yarrangobilly Caves all beautiful in different ways.

  5. I'm a teacher and only found out last year that Mawson's Peak on Heard Island is Australia's highest peak. It is also an island with two active volcanoes .. so Australia does have active volcanoes!! There are even higher peaks in Australian Antarctic Territory, but I don't know the name of those.

  6. The highest mountain in any Australian territory is Mount McClintock, located in the Australian Antarctic Territory, with an elevation of about 3,490 meters. The Australian Antarctic Territory is considered an external territory.

  7. We have also looked at free campsites around that area and found it tricky as well. Thanks for sharing, we are going to try the Bredbo Inn soon as well ❤😊 great episode yet again!

  8. You're right, that place is a nightmare especially in a bigger vehicle, I drove through there in the warmer weather in a 9+ metre motorhome and it started drizzling, it scared the crap out of me especially with some maniac drivers in cars, but the scenery is spectacular
