To be fair, Wilds has so much visual noise on the image that it can be difficult to see Rathalos's trademark red and Rathian's trademark green. The little monster icon with the distance got ignored. Imagine if it was like old duo hunt quests where they will always relocate to back up the other.
Man I remember I was fighting rathalos in mh world in the desert area and then a diabolos, T rex and the other one made of rocks came up at the same spot
