There's a lot of common words and phrases that southern rural Americans use, and they use a lot in this game, here's a few to help.
Ain’t – isn’t / aren’t / haven’t / hasn’t (example, I ain’t seen him today.)
Y’all – you all (plural of “you”)
Fixin’ to – about to do something (I’m fixin’ to head out.)
Reckon – think / suppose (I reckon it’ll rain soon.)
Yonder – over there (It’s down yonder by the barn.)
Holler – a small valley or to call out (They live up the holler. / Holler at me later.)
Might could – might be able to (I might could help you with that.)
Hankerin’ – a strong craving (I’ve got a hankerin’ for some pie.)
Plumb – completely (I’m plumb tired.)
Dadgum / Dang / Tarnation – mild swear words (Dadgum truck won’t start.)
Over yonder – a bit farther away (It’s over yonder past the creek.)
Git – get (Git over here! / I gotta git goin’.)
Done – already (I done told you twice.)
Ain’t no – double negative for emphasis (Ain’t no way that’s true.)

With Arthur's drawl and usage of archaic/historical English I could imagine it would be pretty challenging for a second-language speaker to understand him. Very impressed with how much you follow along and this is an awesome and hilarious series!
