If you read the original, you will see that Vinland Saga is a philosophical story that explores war and peace, sin and redemption.
It is a story about a protagonist who loses his goal and kills many innocent people, but over time comes to terms with his sins and overcomes them.
This is not a simple action anime.
Thors began his "true warrior", because he feared death (Ylva was just born) and Thorfinn's journey begins at rock bottom. That scene at the end made me emotionless like Thorfinn, but deep inside I like Thorfinn can end all of them😠
