Greg Alba & his wife, Olivia, dive into the hilarious and heartfelt sequel, Puss In Boots: The Last Wish! Antonio Banderas returns as everyone’s favorite swashbuckling feline, alongside Salma Hayek as the charming Kitty Softpaws. This time, Puss is on a thrilling adventure to find the mythical Last Wish while grappling with his mortality, facing fearsome foes, and rekindling lost friendships. Directed by Joel Crawford (The Croods: A New Age), this critically acclaimed film introduces an incredible voice cast, including Florence Pugh (Black Widow, Midsommar), Wagner Moura (Narcos) as the chilling Wolf, Olivia Colman (The Crown), and John Mulaney (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse).
Greg & Olivia react to the Best Scenes, Funniest Moments, & Emotional Highlights, including Puss’s showdown with Death, the adorable Perrito’s heartwarming story, the Golden Goose heist, and the climactic fight for the Last Wish. They also laugh at iconic quotes like:
“Fear me, if you dare!” “You’re not laughing at me now, are you, Death?” “I am no longer afraid.”

  2. 11:10 So, fun fact about when the doctor accidentally says barber's orders instead of doctor's orders. In Europe during the Middle Ages, physicians very rarely did surgeries. Instead, it was mostly left up to barbers who also became surgeons to perform surgeries, because they already had a lot of equipment and necessary dexterity to perform such things. They'd also very often be dentists as well.

  3. what i love about jack being so one dimensional is he reminds me of so many real life people lol. born with everything handed to them, and still want more – even if it means stepping (literally) on others to get it. ppl who have everything and simply want more. while others are competing for their quality of life or like…literal lives in some manners, this guys just like "i want it because i want it" and i rly appreciated that personally.

  4. Movie: "I will make you cry over a cartoon cat. I will make you cry about Goldilocks. I will make you cry about a chihuahua that swears a lot."
    Me: "Bring it on."
    Also Me:
    😭😭😭

  5. 30:16 disney doesnt own the IP to those fairy tales they can adapt them but the original stories are so old they are forever under fair use which is why dreamworks gets away with it

  6. There is an theory that the dog is life and how the wolf and dog are the complete opposite of each other but at the same time they are the same side of a coin.

  7. that death wistle is my favorite thing about this movie
this movie is most definitely one of my favorite animated movies ever

i watched this one before seeing the first one (or well i think i saw parts of the first one when i was little but couldnt remember much) and absolutely loved this one and immediately after the cinema went home to watch the first part

  8. First time I saw this and we were introduced to Death, I was all "Ooo, bad guy." Then he completely owned Puss. "Oh… terrifying bad guy!" And then 'Corre, corre, gatito.' "…. terrifying, MULTILINGUAL bad guy!!!" And such a wonderful bad guy he is. But he's not a villain by any stretch of the means. He's simply a Force of Nature.

I think I love this movie so much because ultimately it wasn't JUST the headliners; because they fleshed out Goldie and the Bears so well, and the twist with our "Bounty Hunter". I know some people made the connection earlier, but I honestly took the Bounty Hunter label and it all made sense to me. I figured he was just a hunter that enjoys the chase, and a bit of a sadist in terrifying his prey before unaliving them. Just the way he tapped specifically on the part that was not "or Alive" on the Wanted poster reinforced that thought.
Speaking of Lobo the Bounty Hunter, those weren't coins. While it looked like coins, and maybe that was the point, it was the reflective back of his eyes, like you can see with cats in low light conditions.

Side notes: The captions company hired for this movie are worthless. Every point a character speaks Spanish in the movie, the captions shows "[speaking in Spanish]". Not the Spanish itself, not the English translation, [speaking in Spanish]. "Say hello to my [speaking in Spanish] blade."
But I absolutely loved his rant at the end. "¡¿POR QUÉ DIABLOS FUI A JUGAR CON MI COMIDA!?" Why the hell did I play with my food?!

  9. (I can't remember it that well, bu here we go.) Perritos Pocketful o' Posies symbolize the flower pedals that plague doctors showered upon their deceased patients, the River of Relaxation is about giving up and letting death wash over you, and the field of Quick-and-easy Solutions is Suicide… As I said I can't really remember so don't be rude when replying please.

  10. Such a better reaction than the last one with Roxy. No disrespect to her personally but she was immensely irritating. John is always great though. Always love the videos though and great to see a reaction to this incredible movie.

  11. Though he is terrifying, I like how death is more of a force of nature with sentience than a villain, not really a villain at all, more of an antagonist. His whistle is haunting when he is hunting Puss, however, at the end when he leaves, it's tune is played differently, it sounds more peaceful, and it doesn't have the extra instruments used before to make it sound scary. Symbolizing how death can be a warm welcome, or a slow torture till your last breath. If you look past how he is kind of cheating by going after Puss, you can really understand his perspective. Imagine all the good people he had to take the after life, babies, leaders, people who died in unfortunate accidents, people who really deserved one more chance. Then you have this guy who calls himself a hero and has multiple lives, yet none of his deaths came from being a hero. All deaths Puss experienced was him just saying YOLO. Not only that, but Puss before his growth during this movie was lowkey kind of a douchebag. I'd be angry too, I mean, I was irritated watching that Montage of Puss just dying over and over again.

  12. This sequel really came out of nowhere! At first I was like, "meh, it's something to turn my brain off and watch for amusement…" Then it hit the feels like a freight train 😭

  13. Absolutely love Death making absolutely clear that he is actual death. These days you cant have a story without people trying to make it a mental metaphorical thing every single time. If Harry Potter came out today im sure there would be people saying "Voldermorts just a metaphor for death, bro. He isnt even real "

  14. Death wasn't the neutral one here. He specifically wanted to take Puss's last life before he was supposed to cuz he was annoyed how Puss didn't value his past lives. After Puss has proved he's a changed gato now, Death decided to let him go out of respect. But Death was 100% a villain.
