Is Mr Irrelevant, Brock Purdy going to be yet another QB the draft forgot about? Montana, Brady and a good few others who had good careers in the NFL were taken late on. He seems to have the most important things for a QB apart from the physical skills and those are, ultra cool temperament, excellent field awareness and tactical intelligence. It looks to me like the 49ers might have discovered their new QB at the bottom of the pile. Is this going to be one of those great romantic stories of the man who comes from nowhere and wins it all? We'll see. No matter what, it's been a brilliantly entertaining regular season and I look forward to the playoffs.

Cardinals are an embarrassment, dont care who is playing. They look the same with the starters in. 100 plus years of mostly losing seasons and disappointment. Anyone thinking ownership will FINALLY get it turned around will be sorely mistaken. Only when a new ownership takes over will this franchise have a chance. Ownership willing to spend money vs his father, but he has no clue what he is doing and still wants a bunch of yes men running things. Until that changes, same ol cards.
