Natsu didn't ask Zeref and Igneel about this Ignia guy. He either forgot about him or didn't want to bring it up as he has disdain for Ignia. Ignia shares no beliefs in love, bonds, family, and friendships, and they meant nothing to him. Zeref and Igneel are Natsu's true family who still hold bonds and love.

Igneel must really love Natsu as his son more than Ignia since Natsu is a pure, good natured person who cherishes the bonds with his family and friends. Also, raised well by him. For Ignia, he doesn't care about any of these things, and they meant nothing to him. All he cares about is power and being mighty.
May Natsu see Zeref and Igneel again in the future whenever he can visit them.
