  1. Thorfinn just looks like he did back in S1 episode 23, after he lost to Askeladd and was hit with that cold reality check. I am wondering too how our boy, will find his spark back… the op is hinting.

  2. Thorfinn was always quiet. this man had barely any lines in season one. There were episodes this man didn't speak a single word.

  10. Ketil is more than rich rich, slaves back then were a similar kind of asset to a car- a big investment and not something you bought willy nilly. And slaves with skills even more so- so Ketil owns like, multiple Ferraris. Thorfinn was probably cheap but Einar can farm, speaks Norse pre-trained, and is strong and in good shape. Boi wasn't cheap and Ketil just sorta decided to buy him within a few minutes.

  11. Between the day of the death of Askellad or Askechad, and Einar who meet Thorfinn there is some month 1 year max, Thorfinn was 17 at the end of season 1 and 18 in this two first episode of season.
