We call compare all we want but in the end we all have personal preferences, some prefer the subs, some prefer the dubs, personally I find subs better as VAs there put more effort and passion while the dubs are inconsistent, some are better than others while some are just plain flat with their voice acting.

  7. jesus. for once i thought "this is a very american ip, it might be better in english" but this dub is as trash as all dubs except gibli's are. wtf. why does the industry allow this. they supposedly had Timothy Oliphant for the dub? they couldnt even afford a decent microphone. absolute rubbish. waste of a talented persons time. hope he got paid well.

I kinda hate this, its one of those where some parts of it is set in Japan where japanese characters would speak in japanese to each other but other parts are obviously Western characters speaking in English, I wish there's a mode where when japanese characters would speak japanese but when there are western ones, it would automatically change it.
    I just want it to keep consistent and immersive.
    Also another thing is how inaccurate the translation for the subs are with japanese audio, they follow the dub which has a ton of cursing when the japanese one dont.

  10. Everyone else sounds okay in eng but Eiko, damm man! Her eng va sounds like she has never done any voice,as though she's reading through scripts. They fu*ked up the main character's voice.

  20. I love Eiko's English voice (Sonoya Mizuno), it's low but with a slight rasp.

    Saori Hayami, who's plays Misaki, can read the phone and still make it sound heavenly.

  23. At first I start with Japanese dub until Malcolm scene has no voice but English sub, I immediately change to English dub. I enjoy it and watch it again in the future with Japanese dub.
