I must say that everything about Sigma intrigued me. His background, his connection to maiya, his design and personality, and everything about him are just interesting to me. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that we haven't seen him use a single spell. Yeah, he's apparently specialized in familiars, but even then, a spell casting mercenary should have some form of close combat spell. He hasn't done anything magical, not even summon a familiar or use reinforcement. Him becoming a true lancer is an interesting plot point that should be followed through on in some form, but the kid hasn't even picked up a spear yet! I do hope he lives through this ordeal and gets around his shortened lifespan. I also hope that in a possible spin-off or sequel, we get to see him interact with this world's shirou. Shirou probably isn't gonna show in strange fake, but rin and the rest of El melloi's class definitely is as the master of hippolyta. Maybe he can form a bond with them, and after the war ends, he goes with them, or something like that, leading to him running into shirou later on. Having the son of kiritsugu's assistant and the adoptive son of kiritsugu himself meet is too inticing.
Maybe him becoming True Lancer is similar to how Emiya became Archer. Maybe the counter force will be showing up in F/SF?
Sigma becoming the true lancer makes me immediately think he might make a contract with Alaya and become a counter guardian of some kind since the life of a mercenary is all he knows. That he might mistake Alaya as a god or something after being influenced by Assassin. Also the Watcher and (potentially) the Gatekeeper class seem interesting. The watcher having no combat ability but feeding a military operative all this info is interesting and for a gatekeeper just from it's name seems like a class thats at it's strongest when protecting its territory or whatever it identifies as it's gate.
