I loved the original as a kid I think it might have been my first anime but this looks so sick! I didn't know if I would like a remake/retelling but so far I am so hyped!
Although I hope Milly will also be in this, in the first episode in the original she was Meryl’s partner (but they also worked different jobs in the original they worked for an insurance company if I remember correctly) I just really liked their dynamic in the original but Meryl does kinda have different personality in this one and is like younger im pretty sure.

I mean the space sequence in the opening was a part of the manga the og show only touched a little bit. This looks like it’s gonna hit more of the story.
The original is by far one of my favorite animes of all time even though it's been 12+ years since I watched it I still remember everything also love the movie badlands rumble

I haven't heard anyone comment on the soundtrack yet. I loved it. Most of it was very traditional western, which was very much appreciated, but then during the action scene at the end it switched up the genres and felt so fresh! Fun stuff.
Im a fan of the manga (Trigun and Maximum) but a disliker of the original anime 😅 but I do love the music.
I take this as a “reset” or the mangaka reimagining his original works(some indie artist do this with their OCs/webcomics sometimes). At least they gave the series a different name, Trigun “Stampede”, so I knew from the start it was something new.
Original was a disappointment for me because I was expecting 100% the story from the manga, or at least more than what they did. Had to google the exact number… 17 out of 26 episodes are filler 😞 it’s ok but until this day I can’t really say I’m a big fan of the old Trigun anime.

the original scene of vash vs the bandits was so cool, at least for me it was iconic back then for the machine gun scenes.

Being a fan of the original, and watching this reboot I was disappointed. The animation was cool the character design looked good. The writing lacked the charm the original had. This new first episode was so quirky, made Vash seem so underwhelming. Will continue watching hope they improve, and hope the original English voice actor returns.
I'm a big fan of the original and the cgi is magnificent but idk where they are gonna go with the story since they've changed a lot of stuff especially the beginning with knives but so far it's decent
It's not just a remake, it's Reboot.
First version was a bit more goofy and comedic. They're probably taking the Chainsaw Man approach to give it a more serious tone.

This show terrible compared to the original
I liked this premiere, but the OG is still worth a shot. The old-school animation and artstyle complements the grit and grime of the Space Western setting.
Vash’s new hair design still hasn’t grown on me..
good first episode. OG Trigun is really worth the watch for the new to the series fans.

I really hope that Trigun Stampede does for Trigun what FMAB did for Full Metal. As much as I love the OG Anime, the manga is sssooo much better and I hope this follows the Trigun Maximum story

Trigun getting a second lease on life is just amazing. The original anime was amazing. The maximum manga is amazing and this so far is looking amazing
