Set in 1990s Japan, Malcolm Lee has been developing another AI system that is intended to compete with Skynet. As Judgment Day approaches in 1997, Lee finds himself and his three children pursued by an unknown robot assassin, and a mysterious soldier from the year 2022 has been sent to protect him.

As someone who mostly grew up with eastern stuff & R-rated content, I loved it 9/10.
I’m really excited to check it out. The Terminator franchise hasn’t had a single W for me since Judgement Day, and I wasn’t even alive to see it then 😂 and it being anime, it also just furthers my interest.
Ah, I made a mistake. Last win for Terminator imo was the Universal Studios attraction 🔥
I just watched the full season, it's incredible, the story, the characters and the plot twists are mind blowing, the soundrack it's great, the only bad thing is that ended, when it ended I really wanted to see more and if Netflix makes more seasons I definetly will watch it.
I'm very excited to check this out I love the original 2 and this seems right up my alley

Sounds a bit like Animatrix but for Terminator! I shall give it a go sir! Yeah the western versions of big IPs do love a family dynasty storyline or focusing on a fixed set of characters which can be simple but narrow at times.

It was a unique take of the franchise! The plot twists are intriguing. The score is amazing, this solemn vibe runs throughout the show, I thought Malcolm Lee’s theme was perfect. Can't wait for season 2.
I'm sorry but the kids are annoying. I've always hated kid subplots and the terminator anime does it to a tee. From the kids not liking the dad cause he's busy to them running away, the kids make me not want to watch it. You know the kids aren't gonna get hurt so it sucks out any tension. Also, the babysitter is a TERRIBLE babysitter.

Japan is doing everything better. At this point, i think we need to export all the beloved IPs to Japan. They seem to know how to honor the source material while still injecting new life into it.
