You not wrong on the dad and son character gor. This guy actually in the eps 5 of original trigun! But his son is actually WAYYYYYY bigger then this. And this whole eps is pretty much recreation of eps 5 of original trigun
I think this was episode 5 is in the original iirc. Also the dub was very early 2000s yeah 😂 the actual release in Japan was late 90s
I think the fact that they basically put out a lot of mysteries early so they can basically take the show in other directions later on that are not the original trajectory of the og anime. Which I think is fine tbh..we have two different experiences to enjoy that are still trigun at heart.
