The New Gaming Laptops for 2023

At CES the RTX 4090, RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 gaming laptops with 13th gen Intel chips are launching and they are crazy good

  1. The 40 series GPUs look to be complete game changers for gaming laptops. Those are some massive gains in power efficiency

  2. Laptop that make 1.000.000 of fps , but that in 2023 have also a shit display !!
18 inch with ridicolous resolution and no mini led , always old led illumination !!

  3. My friend, your nose will grow like Pinocchio if you continue to perpetuate these lies in your video (probably you do in others of yours as well): Intel i9-12950 HX and i9-12900 HX cannot be such big differences in performance, they both have the same parameters, the only differences being the V-Pro security feature, which the 12950 HX has, while the 12900 HX is not limited to overclocking like the other !). As such, in the Cinebench R23 test, both processors score over 23000 points of multicores with parameters set to "performance" on the laptop and on AC power alimentation (as I did on my MSI Titan GT77 laptop). To convince you, I can send you a screenshot (if you leave me an email address), so, you can see for yourself. Where did you get it from – only 18000 points of multicores, in the test at 12900 HX – I don't understand ? Maybe, on battery power consumation, not, on AC plug-and-play scenario ! 😯 Also, about the boards video from nVidia (30x and 40x series), the DLSS 3 function brings considerable improvements to the image rendering speed, but, the difference between ON/OFF cannot be that big: >90/>23 fps ! I checked on the video card RTX-3080Ti (L), on the same laptop mentioned above, playing Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin's Creed: Walhalla at maximum settings, including with Ray-tracing enabled, and the difference between DLSS on/off can't possibly be that big at frames per second as yours ! In conclusion, don't misinform those who know, because lies always have short legs !! 😁 I hope you be useful my reply. 😎💻

  4. They did the same misleading specs in wich you can have a 4070 beat a 4090 just because the 4070 uses 115 watts and the 4090 uses 80 watts

  5. Someone needs to talk about how gaming laptops are regressing hardware wise. "Max P" and "Desktop grade" GPUs have essentially disappeared from the market. Only a few years ago you could get desktop level GPUs in laptops and not take the 30-40% performance hit of a "max Q" GPU.

I don't know if its the fad of thin and light gaming laptops or just laziness/greed but we really need desktop grade laptop GPUs to make a comeback. Otherwise you are paying for top end graphics and getting entry level desktop performance in practice.

  6. 1:24 – what a fantastic backhanded insult for your audience. That's so rich, calling us plebs, coming from a person with 4m sub and has enough bank to construct their own studio.
    Have some respect.

  7. intel/amd/nvidia seem stuck in dead end hardware race, now that Moore's law is "dead".
Gaming on Windows, and user inertia is the only string holding them to consumers.
Energy efficient graphics card is useless gimmick if you can't game on battery.
Average user/gamer needs dependable machine, seamless experience and portability (in laptop department). A portable laptop that will last 5-10 years, because they are not cheap.
That means more focus on software optimizations, less heat, and more overall energy efficiency.
DLSS3 proves you can have seamless experience with less hardware.
Having both discrete and integrated graphics card is overengineering, and dead end, with systems on a chip taking dominance.

I like to think about the future where scalability rules and user can scale their own laptop by inserting more SoC on the motherboard, instead of replacing entire machine. Just like you insert SSD now. SoC that contains processing cores, RAM, graphics cores, and AI. You start with one chip, and after 10 years end with lets say 4 chips, and with 2-4x more performance. If that is even possible. It is not necessary to be super simple, but it needs to be available and economical, even if it is done through specialized workshops.
Users like the concept of upgradeability because they feel it is more economical for them to change components instead of the whole machine. But that was always just an illusion, since hardware producers created a system where it is easier to replace whole machine than just a few components. Either by optimizing software that demands the newest, by incompatible components, by short life, and they would put the blame on users that "demand" ever smaller and more compact products.

Now it all comes back to haunt them. If intel/amd/nvidia don't want Apple to win with their M-chips, they need to start paying attention to their consumers needs, and desires, not just their own profit.

  8. pure bs. You are claiming that the power efficiency of the Ada RTX 40 has been massively improved well it is, but know what, most manufactures have switched to bigger and heavier devices so portability won't be a benefit we can enjoy. And the prices have been utterly terrible, the Razer blade 16 starts at 2700 USD excl. VAT, and we are expecting similiar numbers from Asus and Alienware. For the common 1500 price point RTX 4050 would be the only option, and, inargubly the performance is gonna be crapy based on the leaks.

  9. why why why…must we have these HUGE 3 slot graphics cards in our desktops…when we could have these tiny 4090 chips that are in these laptops instead …someone please enlighten me ??

  10. Performance has always been good, battery is the problem. Battery should be the number one priority in a laptop. Battery life is still a joke, better off buying a desktop.

  11. if only windows had good battery and same performance on and off the power then i would not use macbook

  12. I love gaming laptops! I bought the 3050 Asus Strix G15 last year and it can run modern games on mid-high graphics at 144 fps. My last gaming pc lasted 10+ years

  13. What they say and what is independently tested is the key. Useless info. This sounds like hype and over enthusiam. Every year always there is the same hype by influencers GAMECHANGER LOL The day you can actua;ly and totally upgrade yoyr laptop..now that would be a game changer.
