To be fair about Echo in the comics she is deaf and Native American. The lady who’s playing her is an amputee, deaf, and Native-American. I’m pretty sure they casted Alaqua to play Echo because of these things. At this point actors have to be the exact person they’re playing or they don’t get cast.
